C'est un rocher énigmatique dont personne ne sait d'où vient et il y a toutes sortes de spéculations sur son origine. Même si cela semble difficile, vous comprendrez à quel point il sera gratifiant de monter ses 700 marches, après avoir eu l'une des vues les plus époustouflantes que la Colombie puisse offrir.
Une fois que vous êtes tous arrivés en bas, vous remonterez dans la voiture pour traverser la ville d'El Peñol, puis vous vous rendrez à Guatapé. Ici, vous visiterez les rues colorées le long du barrage et découvrirez l'histoire derrière cette beauté artisanale. À cette heure, vous irez dans un restaurant local pour prendre un merveilleux déjeuner traditionnel.
Le barrage a été créé après avoir inondé la vieille ville de Peñol. Il est désormais responsable de la production d'énergie pour des millions de personnes. Vous le visiterez lors d'une excursion en bateau après le déjeuner et visiterez l'une des seules maisons qui subsistent après les inondations, à cet endroit, vous aurez une grande partie de l'histoire derrière la ville et la superstition.

The Peñol Rock and the town walk were good, but the boat ride was a waste of time. (Don't go to the Boat Ride). I suggest going early in the morning to avoid the crowd.

Julio was the best driver. He drove very well and gave us the best recommendation for lunch. The tour company communicates very well over WhatsApp so we never had any doubts about the booking. Having our own driver meant we got to different spots as quickly as we wanted and didn’t have to wait for a whole tour bus of people. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful experience with Artur. He picked our family up in a very nice van and took us on the boat ride, we climbed the rock and had a wonderful lunch. The town tour was my favorite part.
