Une journée complète à Khor Virap, au monastère de Noravank et à la cave Areni. Au cours de la visite, vous aurez l’occasion d’avoir une vue magnifique sur le mont Biblique Ararat. Découvrez l'histoire de Noravank et dégustez le vin arménien à la fabrique de vin. La visite commence à 09h00. Nous vous informerons de l'heure exacte si nous avons des touristes de plusieurs hôtels. La première place sera Khor Virap, à environ une heure de route d’Erevan. Il offre une vue imprenable sur le mont Ararat et Sis. Vous pouvez prendre de belles photos du point le plus proche du mont Ararat depuis l'Arménie. Ensuite, nous continuerons notre chemin vers le monastère de Noravank. A Noravank, nous visiterons les églises de St. Karapet, St. Grigory l'Illuminator et St. Astvatsatsin. Nous nous arrêterons dans un restaurant local pour le déjeuner. (Le prix du déjeuner n'est pas inclus dans le prix) Après le déjeuner, nous continuerons notre route vers la cave Areni, où vous pourrez voir la production de vin arménien et la déguster. Plus tard nous reviendrons à Erevan

Point de départ et de fin
e monastère est l'endroit où saint Grégoire l'Illuminateur a été emprisonné pendant 13 ans dans un profond donjon souterrain (Khor Virap signifie « fosse profonde » en arménien). Khor Virap offre l'une des meilleures vues et la plus proche du légendaire mont Ararat, symbole national de l'Arménie.
Niché dans une étroite gorge de calcaire rouge, Noravank offre une vue imprenable sur les falaises accidentées et la nature. Noravank était le centre spirituel et culturel de la dynastie orbélienne, avec plusieurs tombes royales à l'intérieur.
Visite et dégustation de vins
Les archéologues ont découvert une installation de production de vin vieille de 6100 ans, comprenant des cuves de fermentation, des pressoirs et des jarres de stockage. Une chaussure en cuir bien conservée, datant de 3500 avant notre ère, a été trouvée dans la grotte, ce qui en fait la plus ancienne chaussure en cuir connue au monde.

Excellent day trip covering a lot of ground. Arsen was a fabulous tour guide, taking the time to translate to just me, being the only non-Russian speaker in the group. There was plenty of visit time at each stop and English speaking guides were provided at the Bird Cave and Areni Winery, which was much appreciated. Well worth booking!
Good, but..... try to do a tour only in English when it is mixed with Russian or Armenian you have to go after the guide to ask him because he only explains half of it. On the other hand, I did not have a good experience on the journey, up to 3 times I told the driver to take the steering wheel with both hands because he was looking for songs on his cell phone. It was scary
I had an interesting day in Armenia. Saw a lot of historical places and the tour ended with an amazing wine degustation. Our tour guide Nektar was very helpful and talked history about the places that we visited and about Armenia generally.:)

The places are beautiful, close to the capital, the route is optimized to see each stage calmly. Both the monasteries and the cave are very interesting as well as well maintained. Noravank is worth the tour alone, spectacular. The guide, Arsen, speaks exceptional English and is very professional, as well as nice and friendly. Satisfied!

I made several tours and enjoyed this one a lot! Yes the sites are definitely worth visiting!! But also the service, the company is fantastic! We were a small group. We were not overloaded with irrelevant information. But we got the most important and all questions were happily answered. We got the time we needed and felt free to explore, but same time everything was perfectly organised. The overall atmosphere was more familiar, Arsen is a really friendly guide and I would have done more tours if I would have not done others before. This was my last one in Armenia and the best!! Highly recommendable!! Thank you so much Arsen and hopefully see again!
