I couldn't stop raving about how incredible this was. Definitely, definitely do this tour. Best views I've ever seen. Wonderful food and culture galore.
Thanks to the organizer for this successful tour! I was contacted again by the organizer one or two days before the tour to remember the tour and to arrange the meeting point. We were picked up from the meeting point on time on the day of the tour and started our first stop. During the trip our tour guide gave us interesting information about Kefalonia. Deviating from the plan, we drove first to Melissani Lake, then to Drogarati Cave and finally to Antisamos Beach. As a result, we didn’t have to queue and wait at all at the attractions and then had about 3.5 hours left at Antisamos beach at the end, which was really perfect (but probably depends on the travel time and the group size, which was in June and we were only 5 people). In general, I loved the fact that this tour also included Antisamos beach, as I have rarely seen it on other tours, but I can only recommend everyone to visit this beach by all means. It's just beautiful there. The boat tour in Melissani Cave is relatively short, maybe 5-10 minutes, but the sight is special and definitely recommended. Drogarati Cave is also interesting to see. We were also at the Maritime Museum, a small museum that depicts models of different ships that the owner of the museum made himself (very impressive!). For someone who like me wants to see as much as possible within a week, I would definitely recommend this tour!
This was our first holiday in Kefalonia so we wanted to get a feel for the Island from someone who knows the ins and outs of this beautiful Greek gem. We turned to Avgerinos for a wonderful day trip with our guide Vanna. Vanna knows everything and everyone on the island. She shared her knowledge of Greek mythology, religion, local customs and modern history with us to really bring the island alive! Oh and did I mention the wine tasting. Vanna made it so interesting as she knew a lot about the winery and wine making process. Thank you Avgerinos and thank you Vanna. We will be back.
We are happy that you enjoyed your day tour with us, hoping to see you in the future on one of our other tours. We appreciate that our staff was excellent and made your day unforgettable.
The most amazing day trip to see the sights of the island. From booking to getting back at the end of the day. Can't recommend enough Tour guide was exceptional and the driver was brilliant too. We were not disappointed by anything we saw.
Great value for money. Loved all of the activities and learnt a great deal from the lovely host Vanna (think that’s how you spell it).
We were picked up at our hotel in Karavomilos so it was only a few minutes to the first stop. We had a most enjoyable day with our knowledgeable and entertaining courier - Vanna. As there were a couple of cruise ships in Argostoli, she phoned ahead to ensure we had priority for lunch at a local taverna right on the water. We were not in the coach for hours on end, the coach was small and modern and there was plenty of time at the various stops for photos or shopping - local honey at the monastery or wine after the tasting! We were planning on hiring a car but this took the hassle out of organising and the stress of driving.
Bubbly and enthusiastic Vanna our tour guide. We did so much on this trip, Mellisani cave and Drogarati were incredible. Please cover up in the monastery legs and arms. Lunch in Argostoli was lovely.
