The evening tour turned out to be a private tour, which was much better. Our guide took excellent care of us. I think they should highlight that these excursions are not stroller friendly. When we got to Alhambra, we got sauce, surprise that stroller cannot be taken inside, which made the activity very difficult for us.
The Alhambra tour, was a bit muddled to begin with. Maybe a few more people checking off names would be of immense benefit. Once we were off, Laura, our guide was superb. She was knowledgeable, caring, ensured we didn’t stray in a nice way and walked at a respectable pace. We nicknamed her Laura Croft. The evening tour not so positive, and not what we expected. The guide was difficult to understand. We expected to see caves and locations where the flamenco took place. We saw lots of viewpoints for the Alhambra, lots of very steep dirty streets. Don’t mind the dirty streets, but I’m sure there were nicer routes. As he said there were lots of routes to take. Also one of our party struggled with the walk, perhaps a warning about shoes and the difficulty factor or the walk would have been beneficial
9/9/23, 9:30 p.m., guided night tour of the Alhambra, reserved and paid one month in advance, €36 per person. One hour before we are in the Generalife area, (where the reservation indicates). There a security person tells us that it is not there, that we should go down to the door of the Palaces. We go down. There another security person tells us that we have to go up to the Generalife area ticket offices... An hour of wandering around. Please, a little seriousness, and a little education and kindness with visitors. In the end we made the visit, the Alhambra was spectacular, as always, and the guide, Ana, was very good, and tried to solve all the problems.
Francisco is a wonderful tour guide! He is very knowledgeable and gave us a good historical perspective without being boring.
The attractions were stunning, easy to walk and very clean. The guides made the tour so informative and fun. They spoke perfect English!
The both tour were great and both tour guide Edu and Alexandra were good and very informative. If you wanna a full immersion of Granada and Alhambra fell free to make a tour with them, they know what they talken about. They are very available to every question that you have. They really love their job.
Great!! Visit to the top and very nice site Guide at the top, clear in her explanations. I highly recommend it.
Beautiful experience. Both in the morning (10 - 13) and in the evening (19:30 - 22) Both very comprehensive and competent guides. Nice and available to answer all questions.
We had an amazing time and the tour was so interesting! Unfortunately, the communication before was very unorganized and difficult. We booked the tour starting at 9:00 am. Some days before our tour we received an e-mail that it was postponed to 1:00 pm, which makes a huge difference if it’s 42 degrees Celsius. But we accepted that. Then one day before the tour the Albaicin tour was cancelled, which was the only reason we booked this tour. While we wanted to search an alternative (which is very difficult in such a short time), they offered us an alternative tour in English (we booked in German), which was fine for us, but was very stressful - you don’t want that in your vacation. Alhambra: Our tour guide was very nice and could answer all of our questions. She gave a very detailed overview to the history, the architecture and the different cultural influences of the different parts of the Alhambra. Thank you! Albaicin & Sacromonte: After a longer break, we used to rest and have lunch, we went to our second tour. It was also so great, with lots of interesting anecdotes and fun and with our tour guide Elena it was one of the best tours we ever had. Thank you so much!
Beautiful visit with Andreas guide invested clear very interesting The site is amazing Beautiful walk in the fragrant and fresh gardens
