Tour was disappointing. We did a small loop. Tour guide was intolerant of others on the tour and members of the public, not us, but it was weird and uncomfortable, plus he brought his infant grandson with him. Grandson was about as good as you could possibly expect, and maybe there was a childcare crunch at home, but again not ideal. Guide was not particularly funny or charming. We have done a lot of free walking tours over the years, and this was definitely below average.
Nice tour of downtown Vancouver, saw a few things we would not have seen on our own, like the Marine building.. Very pleasant guide, (? Daniel) who was quite knowledgeable for being a fairly recent transplant. Overall enjoyable tour that is well worth the time!
Erika was a good guide who shared her extensive knowledge in an interesting and capable way.
The tour was very interesting and informative. Erika was an outstanding tour guide making everyone feel welcome and included. My only suggestions would be to shorten it a bit (cut down on the intro) and reduce the group size. We appreciated the microphone so that everyone could hear.
Daniel did a great job leading our group through the city of Vancouver. He is an animated, energetic, knowledgeable, and fun tour guide. He loves his home city and shares it in an interesting and very pleasant way. I enjoyed hearing anecdotes and learning so much about the city! I heartily recommend him!
Right from the start, Daniel was great. Had a long chat with him when checking in and he did this with all the guests. Was very informative on the tour and gave us lots of great information. Had a break just over half way through at the library and this really helped. Would definitely recommend this tour.
We did a 3-hour walking tour with Erika. She did a very good job considering the group was 35-40 people. She kept us together and insured we all safely crossed the many streets. Erika told us a lot of fun and interesting things about Vancouver. She used a microphone and speaker which helped. The highlight was going inside the Marine art deco building. Rest stop at the public library was needed. The group should have been split into two tours. Forty people are too many for one guide. We also took up a lot of sidewalk when we stopped.
I have been on a lot of walking tours here and in Europe and this was one of the best. Our guide, Daniel, was truly amazing. He made the tour interesting, fun and informative. He showed us things, like the Marine Building, that we would have totally missed. We loved every minute of it. Highly recommend. My 16 year old granddaughter totally agrees.
Great tour with a very knowledgeable guide, Daniel. Friendly, funny and informative.
Great tour of Vancouver. Daniel was passionate, funny and very knowledgeable of the history of Vancouver.
