Bienvenue à Chypre ! Nous sommes Ascot Travel & Tours, une entreprise familiale créée en 1990. Découvrez l'histoire et la culture de l'île lors de notre Grand Tour de Nicosie et Larnaca, mêlant tradition, patrimoine et vie moderne. Notre premier arrêt est Lefkara Village, célèbre pour sa dentelle et son argenterie. Visitez la maison traditionnelle de dentelle Lefkaritika pour en apprendre davantage sur cet artisanat unique et voir des pièces artisanales exquises. À Nicosie, la capitale divisée de Chypre, nous passons les murs vénitiens, la porte Famagouste et le palais de l’archevêque avant d’atteindre la rue Ledra pour le temps libre. Explorez les cafés locaux, les boutiques ou visitez le musée Leventis et la tour Shacolas pour une vue panoramique – et, si vous le souhaitez, traversez la zone occupée par les Turcs via la zone tampon de l’ONU. Notre dernière étape est Larnaca, où vous pourrez visiter l'église Saint-Lazare, flâner dans la vieille ville et profiter de la promenade Finikoudes avec ses palmiers, ses cafés et sa vue sur la mer.

Dans le village de Lefkara, nous visiterons la maison traditionnelle de l'artisanat de la dentelle et de l'argent de Lefkaritika. Ici, vous découvrirez l'histoire et l'évolution de la broderie chypriote la plus connue et découvrirez des œuvres d'art extraordinaires.
Après une courte promenade dans la rue Ledra, vous aurez du temps libre avec la possibilité de visiter le musée municipal de Leventis, où vous pourrez voir des objets de l'histoire de la ville et de l'île, la tour Shacolas avec une vue à 360 degrés sur la ville et le côté occupé, ainsi que ainsi que les nombreux magasins et cafés locaux. Si vous le souhaitez, vous pouvez également visiter la zone occupée par la Turquie à Chypre, séparée par la zone tampon des Nations Unies.
À Larnaca, vous aurez du temps libre pour visiter les sites suivants : la magnifique église et le tombeau d'Agios Lazaros – l'église possède certains des plus beaux exemples de l'architecture byzantine ; La vieille ville avec ses échoppes et boutiques traditionnelles ; la célèbre promenade Finikoudes bordée de palmiers, où si vous le souhaitez, vous pourrez également nager, visiter des cafés et des restaurants.

On this tour, our tour guide Chris served as both driver and storyteller. During the pleasant and safe drive to Nicosia, we listened to music and interesting facts about the island of Cyprus. Once there, we were treated to a short city tour with the option to cross the border into the Turkish zone at our own risk. Chris explained everything wonderfully and was always helpful. After plenty of free time in Cyprus’s capital, where we could also visit various museums, we continued on to Larnaca and its highlights. There, too, there was plenty of time for exploring on our own. On the drive back, we admired other sights, such as the large salt lake with its flamingos. Chris drove everyone back right to the hotel’s front door. A wonderful day!

Nice trip to 3 cities but didn't answer the question for sightseeing tips in the turkish capital
I would fully recommend this trip. Lefkara is such a beautiful village and I also very much enjoyed visiting the north side of Nicosia, due to the vibrancy and interesting architecture. The guide, Chris, was excellent, providing lots of information on the local culture and history.
friendly and professional guides/driver who explain history and local culture well. Comfortable transport: pickup from hotels in Limassol are both appreciated.timely hotel pick up and return I enjoyed seeing both Nicosia (historic old town) and Larnaca highlights in one day
Good value for money. Picked up from hotel which is a bonus. Our driver Chris was very informative about the areas we were visiting and Cyprus history in general. It’s quite a long day of travelling sat on a small bus which isn’t particularly comfortable though. Would recommend going over the border to the Turkish side as it added to the experience for us as there wasn’t really a lot to see in Nicosia. Larnaca is a bit more picturesque and we enjoyed some nice food and a look around the church of Lazarus.
Guide (Chris) provided interesting and useful information related to Cyprus history and/or local things to do/visit, in an understandable manner, funny at times. Nice music during riding.

The guide was great, native and knowledgeable. It is good if you don’t want to plan to go to Nicossia or Larnaca by yourself
Enjoyable informative tour , Chris our driver and guide was brilliant . Maybe need a little more time at the two main destinations for free time . But would certainly recommend the tour if you only in Cyprus for a short period of time .
