Our driver - Sara - was amazing. she had a great sense of humor and she also was very in tune with the group dynamics. we had a fun small group of 5. saw a variety of animals. had amazing weather (Sara gets all the credit) and learned a lot while also have fun and making new friends. highly recommend.
It was great being driven around Teton NP, with stops where there are often wildlife. We saw a lot. Sierra, our guide also made great use of our time so that we could do the Jenny Lake portion of the tour without a lot of waiting or crowds. Sierra is quite knowledgeable about the park as well as the wildlife we saw. The day was excellent and we would highly recommend it.
Timely pick up and good scenery but spent along time in waiting line for ferry to return from the Jenny lake excursion
The Tetons are beautiful, so we were excited to get an all-day tour to explore it even more closely. Kirby was our tour guide who immediately told us that he was new to the area (4 weeks) but knew all the great spots and would take us places off our itinerary. He took us to a homestead with a building still standing. It was beautiful and very cool to imagine yourself there. Then, we went to a couple more buidlings... most photographed barn and some churches. He told us that he would usually go to Jenny Lake then, but it was a cold morning (49 degrees), so he was going to wait longer before we went there. We did some more driving... no wildlife seen yet. Then, we finally get to Jenny Lake. Since he is a guide, he has to give one of the participants the business credit card and drops us off and says text me when you get on the boat shuttle back. He gives us directions for the short hike on the other side to make sure we dont end up on the 7 mile hike. He does say the lines will get longer the later we wait to come back. He says it should be a 30min wait to go and an hour on the way back. He said try to be back at 12pm (which gave us 2 hrs) and gives us his cell. So, we head to the line for the boat shuttle.... it took an HOUR. Once we got to the other side, we started hiking... but we were a different-abled group. And due to the time crunch, we hiked half way up to Inspiration Pt and then went to Hidden Falls. So, at 12:30, our group rushed back to the boat docks. My husband and I decided not to to take the shuttle back... we didn't want to stand in a Disney-line in a national park when we could hike back in about an hour. So, we hiked 2.5 miles back to the parking lot. The rest of our group waited for the boat.... for 1hr 40min. We beat them back, got a snack from the crazy-packed store, and rested. They got off the boat hangry and irritated by ALL the people. Kirby was waiting for us at the pickup... but didn't have the sandwiches waiting for us. We piled in the van and then he had to drive further down the parking lot before opening the back of van and handing out the lunches. Here is where I think the tour went wrong... Jenny Lake should be one of the first stops to avoid the lines, no matter how cold. At this point it was 2:30pm, and we had wasted 2.5hrs in line. From Jenny Lake, I think Kirby felt bad we hadn't seen any wildlife, so he said we would go hunting for wildlife. But then, we went to another church and a hotel. Finally, we did see bison on our way back to Teton Village which was very cool. Of course, we hit traffic heading back. By this time, we all stared watching the clock. This was advertised as an 8-9hr trip. We were on this trip from 6:45am to 5:30pm... close to 11 hrs. I would say that time management needs to be re-evaluated. But again, the Tetons are beautiful!
We had an amazing Grand Teton tour! Our tour guide Ben, was fantastic! He was friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about the area. He shared so much interesting information about the mountains, history, wildlife, and landmarks throughout the tour, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Ben took us to all of the must-see spots and made sure we didn't miss any of the breathtaking views that make the Grand Tetons so special. We never felt rushed and had plenty of opportunities to take photos and enjoy the scenery. Another highlight of the tour was the wildlife viewing. When we spotted a bear, Ben immediately pulled over so we could safely watch it. He never rushed us and let us enjoy the experience for as long as we wanted before moving on. Later, when more wildlife was spotted far in the distance, he set up his spotting scope and made sure everyone had a chance to get a close-up look. It was awesome! We enjoyed our tour so much. You could tell Ben genuinely loves what he does and wants his guests to have the best experience possible. We had an unforgettable day and highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Grand Tetons. Thanks again, Ben!
We had such an awesome experience on this tour! Sierra and team were extremely kind and knowledgeable. They were able to help spot plenty of wildlife along the way and the van was extremely comfortable. Would do again 10/10
Exceptional customer service, great guides, very professional, efficient, and accommodating. Highly recommend. Sierra, our guide, was exceptional.
Very informative and beautiful tour Ben was knowledgeable and entertaining. Bus was clean and comfortable and right on time. Saw tons of gorgeous landscapes and some animals too.
Sierra and Sarah were great! Very informative and super friendly! We had a great day seeing wildlife!
The tour is excellent! We very much enjoyed spending all day in the Grand Tetons seeing the sites but particularly Jenny Lake, hiking to Hidden Falls (must do moderate 1 mile round trip hike), visiting Lake Jackson and surrounding areas. Breakfast burrito and lunch were very good as well. Nevaeh was an excellent knowledgeable ranger adding humor and stories to the tour.
