Itinéraire
Commençons par l'obélisque suspendu, qui est l'une des expositions les plus uniques et intéressantes du musée. Cet obélisque est suspendu au plafond, donnant aux visiteurs une perspective unique sur ses anciens hiéroglyphes et sculptures complexes. Ensuite, nous passerons à la statue Ramsès II. Cette statue est vraiment impressionnante et est l'une des plus grandes expositions du musée. Après cela, nous allons jeter un coup d'oeil à 10 statues de Senusert de loin, ce qui est une excellente façon d'apprécier l'art qui a servi à créer ces œuvres d'art anciennes. En continuant la visite, nous verrons les expositions Roi et Reine Ptolémaïques. Ces expositions présentent l'histoire et la culture fascinantes de la période ptolémaïque en Égypte. Ensuite, nous verrons les colonnes de la Victoire, qui sont d'imposants exemples d'art égyptien antique. Nous passerons ensuite aux expositions Royal Regalia, qui présentent les bijoux royaux, les couronnes et autres accessoires, y compris la collection complète Toutankhamon et les chefs-d'œuvre royaux.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Magic Cairo Tours and our guide Mina. Mina is an highly experienced Egyptologist who provided an excellent tour of the Grand Egyptian Museum for my wife, teen daughter, and me. He was attentive to our questions and ensured we made the most of our time there. All in all, an excellent experience. I highly recommend him.

I was recommended Marsil as a tour guide by a friend to show me around Egypt and I could not be more happy with my experience! I had the pleasure of spending 4 days in Cairo and my tour guide Marsil and private driver Kero planned every day for me from hotel pickup, tours, lunch, dinner and hotel return. Marsil is a university qualified Egyptologist and her knowledge of ancient Egypt and its history is amazing, she had in depth explanations of every site and location we went to and kero patiently waited in the car the whole time to be ready for the next location. If you are going to Egypt I highly recommend getting Marsil as a tour guide to plan your whole trip and take the stress away. And a very good price also !
