Gorges du Verdon : lavandes, pique-nique en bateau dans le canyon et villages

Je vous invite à passer une journée vraiment sensationnelle. Probablement l'un des plus beaux que vous verrez en Provence. Je vais t'emmener dans l'un de mes endroits préférés dans les Gorges du Verdon, où je vais souvent avec ma famille et mes amis. La meilleure façon de découvrir cet endroit unique est de faire une balade en bateau dans le canyon, le plus grand d'Europe. Vous piloterez votre petit bateau électrique privé tout en profitant d'un pique-nique accompagné de vins locaux. Vous pouvez vous baigner ou simplement vous détendre en admirant la nature (à 2 heures de route, en tout tranquillité). Nous ferons ensuite quelques haltes dans des champs de lavande hors des sentiers battus. Si vous en avez l'occasion, vous serez le seul à vous y promener et à prendre des photos. Leur beauté est vraiment indescriptible, même après la floraison ! La prochaine étape est le village perché de Sainte-Croix, classé au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO, qui offre une vue imprenable sur le lac de Sainte-Croix. Du temps libre pour se promener ou profiter de la plage au bord du lac. *En cas de mauvais temps, au lieu de prendre le bateau, je vous conduirai en voiture jusqu'au charmant village de Moustiers-Sainte-Marie.

Magnifique village provençal perché classé au patrimoine de l'UNESCO, au bord du lac de Sainte-Croix (temps libre pour flâner dans le village ou profiter de la plage au bord du lac).
En route vers le Grand Canyon des Gorges du Verdon, nous traverserons les magnifiques paysages ruraux de la région des Alpes-de-Haute-Provence.
2 arrêts dans de jolis champs de lavande peu fréquentés, où vous pourrez prendre des photos, acheter des produits locaux et simplement vous détendre.

Good trip if you are in Provence. Boat trip in Verdon gorges was the first of the kind ex. You get to drive an electric boat all by yourself. Water was amazing bluish green. Lavender fields may not be as flashy violet as you see on the google. I traveled on 6th July 2026 in the middle of a heat wave.
Tom was an outstanding guide—warm, prepared, and deeply knowledgeable. The picnic he arranged, the gorgeous swimming spots in the Gorges du Verdon, and the secluded lavender field made the day unforgettable. His kindness and attention to detail turned this into one of the best experiences of our French Riviera trip.

We were fortunate enough to enjoy a magical day with Tom to Gorges du Verdon. From the moment we were picked up, Tom was so friendly and accommodating especially considering it was a hot day. We were a party of two and there were only two others on the trip, making the journey very comfortable and personal. When we arrived at the gorges, we were given two hours in a private boat to explore the gorges. We ate, swam and enjoyed the picturesque views. The food and wine were a highlight, Tom was very generous with the portions and we both arrived back to the vehicle very full. Then we stopped by a lavender field and heritage listed village Saint-Croix with a gorgeous lake that was beautiful to swim in. We couldn’t recommend this tour enough. Tom was friendly and knowledgeable, he made our day so special and took photos of us at every stop!! Thank you Tom

The day that we spent exploring the Verdon region was a highlight of our time in Southern France. Les Gorges du Verdon are truly breathtaking and there is beauty everywhere you look. Tom is an excellent tour guide and arranged a day that combined history and culture with extraordinary views and experiences. We began with a private boat trip through Les Gorges du Verdon where we ate a picnic of traditional French delicacies and wine. We then travelled to the village of Saint Croix, stopping to view (and smell) the fields of lavender and sage along the way. The tour was very relaxed and it was a pleasure to share time and stories with Tom. He did a wonderful job of providing information and entertainment while also allowing us time for private experiences. Communication and coordination were excellent. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone!

This was an incredible day and the highlight of our time in France. Tom was an amazing guide - he provided helpful information, took us to unique spots, and packed an incredibly tasty lunch. He even accommodated our food allergies last minute. I would highly recommend this trip to one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen - you will not regret it!!
