Gordes, Roussillon (+ sentier des ocres) & Fontaine de Vaucluse

Ouvert aux voyageurs solo ! Un circuit pour prendre le temps de découvrir 2 magnifiques villages du Luberon dont Gordes qui conserve l’héritage de son passé agricole et artisanal (marché local le mardi). Vous ferez un arrêt à l'Abbaye de Sénanque du 12eme Siècle, lieu de paix entourée de lavande de juin à Juillet. Vous irez ensuite à Roussillon, village d'ocre et son ancien lieu d'extraction aménagé en sentier, que vous pourrez visiter (entrée incluse), puis flânerez dans le village coloré, pour y prendre librement une pause déjeuner. Votre journée se terminera à Fontaine-de-Vaucluse où vous découvrirez les eaux jaillissantes et rafraîchissantes de 'la Sorgue", rivière fascinante et limpide, vous pourrez découvrez les techniques traditionnelles de fabrication du papier chiffon comme au XVe siècle. A savoir : Ce circuit nécessite une condition physique adaptée à la marche, incluant la capacité à monter et descendre et emprunter des escaliers.

Arret photo au point de vue du plus beau village du monde Visite du village et temps libre dans les ruelles (marché hebdomadaire le mardi matin).
Arrêt photo à l'abbaye de Sénanque et visite possible de la boutique (entrée libre)
Visite du sentier des ocres à l'entrée du village (Ticket entrée au sentier des ocres inclus ). Visite libre
Temps libre dans le village classé plus beau village de France (marché hebdomadaire le jeudi matin) Temps incluant une pause déjeuner
Promenade en bord de rivière pour admirer les flots de la Sorgue (l'accès jusqu'au gouffre temporairement fermé en raison d'un risque de chute de pierre). Passage dans la fabrique à papier traditionnelle alimentée par un moulin à eau.

Very unprofessional and disappointing experience. I booked this small-group van tour months ago, looking forward to exploring the Provence towns. On the morning of the trip, we arrived at the meeting spot on time, only to be told the guide was running 15 minutes late. After waiting, we received a notice that the tour was canceled without any explanation. Only after I asked did they mention a car accident. A reliable tour company should have a backup plan for emergencies. They didn’t just waste our time and energy; they ruined our entire day. Absolutely unprofessional behavior. I would not recommend this unreliable operator.
Dear Madame Hong, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. First of all, I would like to sincerely apologize for the cancellation of your tour. I completely understand your disappointment, especially after you had planned your day around this excursion with your friends. Unfortunately, due to an unexpected mechanical problem with the vehicle I had arranged for the tour, I was unable to operate the excursion safely. As a small independent operator, I had no suitable replacement vehicle available at such short notice, and cancelling the tour was the only responsible decision. You contacted the Tourist Office and I talked to the agent who was in front of you finding a arrangement and solution for you, I gave him different options and possibilities in the hope of finding an alternative for your group. So I find out that nothing could be offered by the tourist office, even though they are connected with a multitude of drivers, guides, service providers, and agencies. I am sincerely sorry to learn that no similar tour was available that day. I understand how frustrating this experience must have been, and I regret that your visit did not go as planned. While this situation was entirely exceptional, I fully appreciate the inconvenience it caused. Thank you again for your feedback, and I wish you all the best for your future travels. We took this Provence Excursions tour with Florine. She was an excellent guide. Very knowledgeable and full of commentary throughout entire day. Tour was well paced. It was a friendly, enjoyable day for us all. There was enough time for a relaxed pace lunch as well. This was our favorite sightseeing experience out of three during our time in Avignon.

We had a lovely touring day with Florine. She is very knowledgeable about the area, pleasant and engaging. She arrived promptly with her car and took us on a lovely tour; she timed our visits well and we had ample time to stroll through the towns, take photos, shop. I would highly recommend this tour!

We loved our day exploring Gordes, Roussillon and Fontaine-de-Vaucluse! Florine was very friendly, relaxed and informative. I learned a lot about the history of this region. Florine responded very quickly to our messages and picked us up right next to our accommodation, which made it much easier for us. I really appreciated her patience: she spoke French with me and moved easily to English, which allowed my 13-year-old daughter to understand and feel comfortable. I highly recommend this excursion!
