We had a wonderful full-day private tour covering Gobustan Petroglyphs, the Mud Volcanoes, Ateshgah Fire Temple, and Yanar Dag - the Burning Mountain. There were two of us and the entire day was very well organized by the agency. We were picked up privately from our accommodation, and both the guide and driver were professional, friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout the tour. The Gobustan Petroglyphs were one of the highlights of the day. It was fascinating to see the ancient rock carvings and learn more about the early history and culture of the region. The Mud Volcanoes were absolutely marvelous and felt like a true natural wonder. The unusual landscape and bubbling mud made the place very unique and memorable. The Ateshgah Fire Temple was also very interesting, especially because of its historical and cultural connection with fire worship and Azerbaijan’s identity as the Land of Fire. Yanar Dag – the Burning Mountain was another impressive stop, where we could see the natural flames burning directly from the hillside. A very nice surprise was that the company also included additional stops that were not originally part of the itinerary. We visited the world’s first drilled industrial oil well and the Bibiheybat Mosque, which made the experience even more complete and enjoyable. The tour took place during the Formula 1 period in Baku, so traffic in some parts of the city was quite heavy. Despite this, our driver handled everything extremely well. He was very professional and flexible, using alternative routes whenever possible to reduce travel time and help us spend more of the day sightseeing instead of sitting in traffic. Overall, it was a very enjoyable, comfortable, and well-planned experience. We especially appreciated the private service, the extra sightseeing stops, and the effort made by the team to make the day run smoothly. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy a complete and memorable full-day tour around Baku and its surrounding attractions.

If you are coming to Azerbaijan (Baku), you have to take this tour. I did it with my family, wife and 2 small kids (7 and 10 year old). The pick up was perfectly on time. Valeh greeted us in the lobby of our hotel and took us to the car. It was a Mercedes Benz Van, very well equipped and clean. The driver was very courteous and drove very safely. Valeh is an archeologist, he know in and out the region and all the details about it. He explained all the details, answered all of our questions and during the driving explain a lot regarding the history of Azerbaijan. It was an amazing experience. My father and I hired Valle for this private tour, and it was fabulous. With a PhD in archeology, Valle was extremely knowledgeable, but above all, friendly, kind, and and patient. We took a private tour rather than a group tour because my elderly father has limited mobility, and Valle thoughtfully managed these restrictions for a tour both of us enjoyed. He also arranged drivers for us for the rest of the week, both within Baku and to Quba and the Red Village and back. They were helpful and enthusiastic, and knew all of the best places to bring us! Super nice tour through the area of Baku and various highlights in the area. Also a piece to the mud volcanoes in an old Lada is great Nice guide Aga can be mentioned.
Fun day with guide Aga, who can tell well. Surprised at the prehistoric drawings by the large amount on display. Driving a Lada through the landscape was also an experience in itself. Finally, we could quietly wait for the dark for the most beautiful pictures of Yanardag. Top day day!
