Montez dans le tram à vin Franschhoek pour un court trajet de 2 à 5 minutes aller simple à travers les vignobles pour atteindre la cave Rickety Bridge (ou similaire) pour une dégustation de vin standard de 3 de leurs vins. Sur le chemin du retour au Cap, vous vous arrêterez à l'une des plus anciennes fermes viticoles d'Afrique du Sud, Muratie Winery près de Stellenbosch. Dégustez leurs vins de style porto pour terminer la journée avec cette expérience de dégustation sucrée avant une fin d'après-midi paresseuse en voiture vers Le Cap.

Votre journée commence sur les pentes sud-ouest de la chaîne de montagnes Paarl, où des vues incroyables et une expérience de dégustation paysanne vous attendent au domaine Fairview de renommée mondiale. Vous marierez du fromage artisanal, produit dans la fromagerie sur place, avec des rouges et des blancs raffinés, vous offrant ainsi une expérience d'accord hors du commun associée à une connaissance approfondie des vins que vous dégustez.
Continuez vers la pittoresque ville de Franschhoek pour découvrir la beauté de cette région à bord d'un tramway de style vintage tout en sirotant un verre de vino de renommée mondiale provenant des vignobles environnants, avec un arrêt dans un domaine viticole local - soit Rickety Bridge ou Plaisir Wine Estate, sous réserve de l'itinéraire quotidien du train et de sa disponibilité. Le trajet en tramway dure généralement environ 5 minutes jusqu'à la ferme de dégustation de vin.
Lorsque le vin coule à flot, il est facile de se mettre en appétit, alors c'est dans les ruelles de campagne bordées de vignobles verdoyants jusqu'aux contreforts de la vallée de Franschhoek pour une pause déjeuner bien méritée. Qu'il s'agisse du marché fermier du week-end ou d'un café ensoleillé en bordure de route dans la vieille ville de Franschhoek, laissez-vous porter et profitez de votre temps libre dans la capitale épicurienne de l'Afrique du Sud, avec sa multitude de restaurants. Vous aurez le temps de vous imprégner de l'histoire de cette ville et d'en savoir plus sur les huguenots français arrivés au XVIIe siècle ; parcourez les galeries d'art et les boutiques d'art et d'artisanat à la recherche de souvenirs le long de la rue principale et déjeunez dans une épicerie fine ou un café au coin de la rue.
En arrivant sur le quai du train de la cave locale, vous débarquerez pour une courte promenade et vous dirigerez vers la salle de dégustation de la ferme. L'itinéraire standard s'arrête généralement à l'historique Rickety Bridge. Détendez-vous et profitez d'une dégustation de vins du domaine incluse; savourant 3 favoris avec une vue imprenable sur la vallée en toile de fond. Les jours où l'itinéraire du Franschhoek Wine Tram se dirige vers les montagnes de Simonsberg, le tram s'arrête au pittoresque domaine viticole de Plaisir pour la dégustation incluse afin de goûter un choix de 3 de leurs vins de gamme.
Juste au nord de Stellenbosch, nichée dans un coin pittoresque de la vallée de Knorhoek, se trouve l'une des plus anciennes fermes viticoles d'Afrique du Sud, Muratie, datant de 1685. La dégustation de vins dans la ville historique de Muratie se déroule dans d'anciennes cuves de fermentation en ciment creusées. C'est ici que le premier pinot noir d'Afrique du Sud a été élaboré et l'endroit où vous ferez l'expérience d'une dégustation parfaite de vins de porto aux tons doux. Terminez par un retour paresseux et un retour en fin d'après-midi à votre hébergement au Cap ou à Stellenbosch.

I've been in South Africa so many times, and always with Hotspots2c. I've been there on this tour to Paarl, Stellenbosch and Franschhoek for 3 times and now was my 4th time and of course it was perfect again. Our guide Uriel I already knew and it was amazing to meet him again with all his patience, friendship, knowledge and i can say that we had lots of funny moments with all group. He's more than perfect!!!!! We've been in 3 amazing wineries and all were perfects and with amazing wines. The first one (Farmview) was my preferred. I can't wait to visit Cape Town again and I'm sure I'll want to be back with Hotspots2c. ❤️🇿🇦📍🤩

We had a wonderful day exploring the winelands with our tour guide Ulrich. Ulrich was really friendly, chatty and knowledgeable – we really enjoyed speaking to him and learning more about the Cape & SA on our journeys to and between tastings. All 3 tastings were really enjoyable and all take place in beautiful surroundings. Getting to go on the wine tram briefly was also a lot of fun. We enjoyed having a brief break at the farmers market which was a great spot to grab some lunch. The whole day was very enjoyable and very well organised – thank you Ulrich for a wonderful day!

I want to start of by saying that we have been beyond happy with any tour that we did with hotspots directly. This one in particular however was outstanding. Not only because the wine lands around Cape Town are just breathtaking but specifically because our tour guide Mr. Nev was not only an incredible tour guide but enriched our experience immensely by firstly being an amazing human to spend time with and also by him just being beyond accommodating and focusing on giving us the best experience ever! He went above and beyond throughout the entirety of the tour and even after - checking if everything went well during our tour the day after (which was not with hotspots directly). We have done many tours and have had many tour guides, but have to say that the ones at hotspot and especially Mr. Nev are outstanding. Additionally, his experience as a tour guide for many years and his immense knowledge about the area and the history of the region and his personal experiences that he so kindly shared with us made the tour even more special! If you get him, you can be assured that you will have the best experience ever since he goes way beyond what his scope as a guide is!

Great door to door service and a fabulous day. Our guide Urial gave us some great local info and took us to some breathtakingly beautiful places. We sampled 3 different wineries as well as a short train and tractor ride. Great value and well organised. Would recommend.

Fairview and Muratie were excellent tastings. The wine tram and Rickety Bridge did not meet my expectations. We were dropped off at a market at Franchoek to get lunch!! Not much choice and no place to dit and eat. Would have preferred lunch at a winery restaurant which looked very nice.

We're so happy that you loved the older Fairview and Muratie wine estates tastings and it's a pity that the Franschhoek wineries and activities did not live up to expectations this time. The market is across the road from the main street dotted with cafes, deli's and restaurants for a sit down lunch option. Guests have lunch time free to explore the small town at leisure, and we've added a note on the guide's brief for this trip to give more suggestions for lunch too.
