Great tour to good food spots I probably wouldn’t have gone on my own. It inadvertently ended up being a private tour, and Josue was great at telling me not only more about Jack but Costa Rica in general. Despite it being just the two of us, I had a great time and learned a lot. Would recommend for solo travelers and groups alike.

Josue was great and very knowledgeable of the history and foods. Took us on a great tour with great food! Definitely recommend doing at the beginning of your trip so you know all the good places. 10/10

I had an amazing experience on this food tour with Josué! The food, drinks, and desserts were all fantastic - every stop was a treat. What really set this tour apart was the historical perspective Josué wove into the experience. Learning the stories behind the food and the culture made every bite more meaningful. We had a wonderful time on the Costa Rica food tour with Josue. He went above and beyond with showing us some of the best food spots in Jaco but also with being extremely knowledgeable about the culture, history, animals, and any questions we had about the country in general. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting town. The only regrettable part was that we did this tour on our last day and he gave so many local food recommendations that we will have to save for next trip!

Let me start off by saying my tour guide Josue was the best. He was very pleasant, funny and knowledgable. He convinced me to drink beer which I hate! He was delightful and easy to talk to. He told me about the many murals that are painted around town including the one of the direct descendant of Pastor Diaz. The tour itself is ideal especially if you're open to trying new foods. I had caldosas at Picarita's, patacones, which are DELICIOUS (can't remember the name of the place) and beer randon at Amudio's and a Winston Churchill! This is a walking tour so be advised if you have any conditions.

You can tell he knows the area really well, and I learned a lot about Jacó while trying some really good local food. I liked that it wasn’t just about the food, it was also a walking tour around downtown. He pointed out different places around town, shared local recommendations, and we even stopped in a souvenir shop, which was a nice little addition. We also ended the tour with dessert, which I wasn’t expecting and thought was a fun surprise. The whole experience felt like a great value for the price. There was plenty of food, and I left feeling like I got to experience much more of Jacó than I would have if I had explored on my own. I was traveling solo from the U.S. and I felt safe and comfortable the entire time. Josue was friendly, laid-back, professional, and made the tour feel really easy and enjoyable. What an amazing way to get to know Jaco! Josue was a fantastic tour guide who took us to all the best spots in town and the food at each stop was mouth watering. The flow of the tour is super laid back, and all of the food stops are within close proximity of each other. The food portions are generous, make sure you go on this tour hungry. I had such a wonderful with the guide Josue. He is very knowledgeable of local Jaco history, culture and the food. I learned so much about the cuisine and history while i was on this food tour with Josue. The foods are so tasty as well! I won’t be able to discovery those dishes on my own if it’s not for Josue. Josue is very friendly and approachable. I can tell he really enjoys touring and guiding people and teaching Jaco history. The portion of the food/drinks are perfect. Highly recommend this if you are in Jaco. Come hungry!
