Nous nous rendrons à pied dans plusieurs établissements familiaux différents, rencontrant des artisans locaux et mangeant des assiettes échantillonneuses spécifiquement choisies comme représentatives de chaque lieu. Après la visite, nous vous donnerons des endroits suggérés pour passer le reste de votre soirée. Préparez-vous pour une visite culinaire qui vous fera découvrir les coulisses de la culture locale, la nourriture, le plaisir et le rire. St Pete est une destination incroyable à visiter et une ville à aimer et à vivre! Our guide Scott was fantastic. We met the group in a cute courtyard, and journeyed out to several restaurants. We learned a lot about the history of St Pete on our walk , and got to try some delicious food. Bring your appetite - portions were great! We opted to order drinks that we thought paired w the food at each location - but there was plenty of water provided if you prefer not to spend any extra money . It is a walking tour, so be prepared to do a bit of walking , but there is plenty of time to rest at each stop. Highly recommend - you won’t be disappointed.

It was just the two of us and the tour guide so somewhat awkward. We are senior citizens and it was difficult to keep up with the tour guide’s fast walking pace. I even tripped on uneven sidewalk and fell. The food was marginal……tacos were good, charcuterie was boring and prosciutto pizza was cold. Definitely not worth the money.
We had a couple of phone calls: one on 2/9 at 10:04am and another on 2/20 at 8:48am, where I communicated that only the 2 of you had booked and we require a minimum of 4. You said you hoped that the tour would not get cancelled. So, even though I make zero profit on a tour of 2 people, I had the guide provide a private tour for you & your husband, simply out of kindness and hospitality. In fact, when people book through 3rd party travel platforms, I have to pay out of pocket for all of the food on the tour and then wait for 4-6 weeks to get reimbursed from the tickets that you purchased on the 3rd party website. These is an example of "no good deed goes unpunished" and a reminder that I need to hold steadfast to company policy. By the way, the guide is retired and middle-aged and was in the hospitality industry for decades. He is a well-respected local and as you learned, is a wealth of great information about St Pete. His response to this: "I can't believe she left that review. They were very nice and seemed very happy with the tour." I also found out that the tour guide went above and beyond: since it was just two of you, the presentation finished early, so he gave you guys extra attention and a bonus experience by taking you on a trolley ride through town, too. I hope you enjoyed the rest of your visit to St Pete. SW Florida is a very special place!
There was just my husband and myself so it was kind of awkward. I wish they would have told us as we would have canceled. The guide was very pleasant and informative. Bus as we are senior citizens, it was difficult to keep pace with a much younger person…..I even tripped and fell on the walk. The food was just okay. The tacos were tasty. Charcuterie was boring and the prosciutto pizza was quite cold. Overall the experience was not worth the money.
Thank you for providing feedback of your experience. We had a couple of phone conversations about it just being the 2 of you. We were doing a favor for you, since you communicated that you wanted to take the tour. The description on this platform literally says that we require a minimum of 4 to run a tour. There is literally no company profit for a party of 2; I literally kept your tour scheduled out of kindness. The tour guide is actually retired and middle-aged. The health and safety description notes that guests are required to know their own physical capabilities of a guided walking tour. We are not medical professionals. Only public city sidewalks are utilized on the walking route. I wish that you had called me to express your disappointment versus posting such negativity on here. It's very damaging to a small business with a tiny profit margin.
Scott was great and we had a wonderful time!! Got to check out some cool spots off the Main Street that only a local would know. Highly recommend it!
