James is a great tour guide! He gave us a nice variety of Glasgow pub food and drinks. Along the way, showed us interesting sights and some history. I just love walking food tours. You get a little bit of everything.
This was a great tour. Ian was great. Our group all became friends in the 3plus tour. Food was great.
Iain was a gem. We knew from the very first moments of the tour that we were in for an outstanding experience. His knowledge of Glasgow, his friendly personality and knowledge of Scottish food was superlative. Our entire group felt this was one of the best food tours we have ever done! Kudos to Iain
A great little slice of Glasgow, got to see some sights, learn some history, eat delicious food and have some amazing drinks. Our guide Lei was lovely and a delight to follow around the city. Try everything! You never know what your next favorite food or drink is.
Lei was incredible! She was so knowledgeable and we had a great time eating and drinking our way through Glasgow.
James is a great guide. He gave lots of information about Glasgow and the Pubs we visited. He was very friendly and easy to talk to.
This was so much fun and the food and drinks were phenomenal. Who knew we’d like Whisky Cider? Never even heard of it. And it’s gluten-free too??! Definitely a super fan now. Our guide, James, was knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and just all around great! This is one to do in Glasgow for sure. He took us to places we would never have ventured to on our own. We would’ve missed these gems.
Excellent way to start Glasgow visit. Great guide, yummy food with interesting stories. Easy walking.
My title says it all. Fist let me say that the guide James was quite pleasant. There are 4 stops. The first is a beer tasting. So a rating on that depends on if you are a beer buff. The 2nd stop is a soup and a small plate. Both tradional Scottish. Which was a good choice. The 3rd stop was chicken curry and naan. With no rice ir anything else a man would not have filled up on it. It was good flavor but not everyone likes curry. A high quality Shepard pie would have been better. Last stop was an atmospheric pub for sticky pudding and a whiskey if you want to pay extra. It was all pleasant but not up to my expectations to meet the price. The guide did a good job.
Thanks so much for taking the time to share your feedback. Delighted to hear you enjoyed your time with James. We're always working to improve the tour and strike a balance between authentic local food and drink culture that's famous and less well known. We aim to serve a diversity of food and drink and to ensure everyone enjoys a full meal even if a particular dish isn't to their taste, hosts offer to order additional food whenever needed. A whisky or gin liqueur is included with all tickets with an option to upgrade on the day to a dram of Scotch Whisky. We made this change based on guest feedback and will keep listening to feedback to see if we need to change approach.
James, our guide, took us to traditional Scottish restaurants. We had all kinds of foods. It was delightful. Just two travelers, so we had lots of attention.
