La maison historique du duc d'Argyll, chef du clan Campbell, nichée dans de grands jardins magnifiques surplombant le Loch Fyne. Sinon, explorez les maisons géorgiennes blanchies à la chaux de la ville, les rues larges et la vue imprenable sur le loch. Le château d’Inveraray est ouvert aux visiteurs du jeudi au lundi 1er avril au 31 octobre
Nous passerons ensuite au château de Kilchurn, l’un des châteaux les plus photographiés d'Écosse, niché sur les rives du Loch Awe et magnifiquement encadré de montagnes.
Ensuite, nous ferons un arrêt pour déjeuner dans la pittoresque ville portuaire d’Oban, « Gateway to the Isles », avec du temps libre pour explorer sa baie en fer à cheval et voir McCaig’s Folly, une tour emblématique du 19ème siècle qui rappelle le Colisée de Rome
Après avoir exploré le temps libre, nous passons devant le Castle Stalker du XVe siècle, situé sur une petite île du Loch Laich.
Glencoe, un des glens les plus hantés d'Écosse et site du massacre du clan MacDonald en 1692.
Dans le joli village de Luss, sur les jolies rives du Loch Lomond, nous pouvons marcher le long de la rive ou admirer le village avant de retourner à Glasgow où votre excursion à Oban prendra fin.

The tour was great. I could see a lot of things I had never seen before. The stops for pictures were very worth it and our driver Jerry was very knowledgeable about the places we were visiting.

We had a fantastic time with our Guide Jack. The weather was cooperating and it was beautiful. Jack was very knowledgeable and entertaining and told us a lot of interesting facts. There were plenty of stops to enjoy the views and sites or to just use the bathroom. I can highly recommend.
The tour guides, Michelle and Blair were excellent. They kept spirits high and entertained us all day with stories, songs and laughs. I took my book for the long day out and never once thought to take it out. The two of them went above and beyond. The sights and scenery were breathtaking and we all loved every twist and turn in the road. Thank you Michelle and Blair for a truly memorable day.

Robert, our driver told some interesting historic stories. Fun to see the highlands up close. We even saw some random hairy coos in some fields!

We did five private tours with Timberbush. All were coordinated through the bespoke consultant Paulina. She was awesome and incredibly helpful. I had to make a big change too all the dates I originally booked but Paulina was so patient and helpful and I could not appreciate her more! Our Driver Guide was Chris. I can't say enough about him. He had four adults and two kids under the age of ten. He was so patient with my grandkids. We also had to deal with Storm Amy while we were there and it hit hard while on our tour of Glencoe. Chris managed to get us back to the hotel safe and sound and we appreciated his skilled driving and calm demeanor in the storm. He was also a very knowledgeable guide who answered all our questions and would recommend him to anyone looking to do a private tour with Timberbush.

Great tour to Highlands, very beautiful city of Oban and castles. Long trip from Glasgow Pre booked through Viator. Worth the loong visit of 9 hours
