Fabulous Rock Ride

We loved Peter the bus driver. So skilled at handling the vehicle. And he knew his info inside and out. The only negative was that each stop could have been longer.

Greg and Debbie from Australia

We recently did a Rock Tour with Natalie Ressa. She was absolutely amazing took us to all the wonderful places in Gibraltar. She was very knowledgeable and very friendly, also a great driver. Thank you for making our Gibraltar experience so fantastic.

Gilbratar fast paced tour

Quite a rushed tour. An addition of half to an hour for the trip would make it a better experience especially at the WWII tunnel and St Michael's Cave. It would be nice if the guide can give a preview of what to expect at these 2 venues e.g. the light show in the cave.

Disappointed

Not great. We arrived (15 mins early) to the meeting point as per the directions indicated on the booking and no one was there. We asked around and a driver for a different tour advised that he “believed” that company we were with meets on the 2nd level of the parkade which was mot indicated in the meetup instructions. We spent 15 minutes in a panic fearful we would miss our (very expensive tour) with people and chaos everywhere. When finally we found the right bus our ticket wasn’t validated and out names not confirmed for the tour. On top of this, we didn’t see everything that was listed on the itinerary either (apes’ den & sky walk were omitted). The guide played a recording on the vans’ audio for most part and wasn’t very engaged I have booked a number of excursions through Viatour and they have all been great but this one was really bad especially considering the high cost.

Rushed tour. Organised chaos from start to finish. Three short stops. War tunnels alone needed at least 45-60 mins

Very rushed and unwelcoming tour

It is a quick tour, my...

It is a quick tour, my wife thought it could be 30 minutes longer to spend more time at the tunnels. I agree, lots to read in the tunnels.

Great bus trip around the sights of Gibralter

Recommend by our hotel and arranged through them . A short 15 minute walk from the hotel to the bus station collection point. Angel our tour guide driver was very informative and humorous, the recorded information along the journey was also very good . We stopped at all the attractions and were given time to look around. Inevitably the tour took approximately 2 hours so if you wanted to spend longer at an attraction you may want to arrange a trip with a taxi firm , but this will be more costly I imagine. All in all my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the trip and particularly Angel and his knowledge and humour making the whole trip informative but light hearted.

Different experience than the one we booked

We booked the WWII tunnels, but were bustled into a group that had a ride along the coast up through the nature reserve and then to St Michael's Cave. The bus driver was great and shared interesting insights about Gibraltar, but we never saw the WWII tunnels.

Great experience and amazing tour guide

This tour was absolutely amazing. Our tour guide Nicky was super informed, he had grown up in the area and had so many stories to tell. He not only knew the history of the area from a WW2 perspective, he was able to point out things that had changed in the area since his childhood. The monkeys knew him and came over to say hello which let us get a ton of photos both outside st. Michaels cave and at the den which is more like a roadside pull off. Overall I felt like this tour was a great way to see as much as we could in such a short period of time without feeling rushed or like we missed something.

One hour and 45 minutes rushed tour. Only 20 min in tunnels.

Tour was an estimated 2 hours and 30 minutes (150 minutes) per Viator’s site. Actual tour lasted ONE hour and 45 minutes (105 minutes). This is 30% less time than advertised AND SOLD, yet we were hurried at every stop. We had all of 20 minutes in the tunnels, which is absurdly short, only to arrive back significantly early. If we are going to get 70% of the tour, please credit us for 30% of the price so that (hopefully) some day we can actually tour the tunnels? A huge disappointment.

Thank you for your feedback, timings of the sites are as you state 20 minutes at the WWII tunnels. we give approx 2.5 hours to take into account traffic from start to finish however we have timings for each stop.
