La quatrième merveille naturelle de la nation, la Chaussée des Géants, est un site du patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO à couper le souffle qui captive avec ses plus de 40 000 rochers en forme d'escalier qui mènent à la mer. Our tour guide/driver was Jordan , very nice young man . He guided us to the bus in an orderly fashion. The tour destinations were worthy considering the long journey from Dublin . Jordan gave us ample time to do and see everything at each stop . He was very knowledgeable in the subject matter. Thank you Jordan !
Jonathan was excellent. Causeway was worth the drive
This full day experience packed in a lot of different things to see and hear. The driver provides information about Ireland while making your way north to the Giants Causeway in Northern Ireland. It’s like a guided drive. At the stops, you have ample time to explore on your own. Heading back to Dublin included stops in a small seaside town for lunch at an inn before driving to Belfast for time to explore the city. A great trip to see and learn about the northwestern part of Ireland.
Great tour however definitely not enough time in Belfast , city that deserves more than hour and half to explore…..
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Giant's Causeway is absolutely stunning, but if we're being honest, Bobo was the highlight of the entire tour. From the moment we left Dublin, he had us laughing. He has a fantastic sense of humor and filled the drive with interesting stories about the history and relationship between Ireland and NORTH of Ireland, mixed with hilarious jokes and witty observations. He somehow managed to make a long bus journey feel far too short. One of my favorite moments was when we were stopped at a red light and a young man carrying flowers walked by. Without missing a beat, Bobo announced over the speakers, "You just know he's done something wrong and is on his way to his missus!" We all laughed—and a few moments later we found out that was exactly the case! It perfectly sums up his quick wit and entertaining commentary throughout the day. He also got the whole bus involved. We were clapping, singing along to a three-minute song, and by the end it felt like a bus full of strangers had become one big group. The atmosphere was great. Then came an unexpected twist. When we arrived in Belfast, there was a parade that prevented the bus from stopping where planned. Rather than letting that spoil the experience, Bobo asked if we'd like him to give us his own version of the famous Black Cab tour instead. The answer from everyone on the bus was a loud, enthusiastic "YES!" He took us around Belfast, sharing fascinating stories and local insight, and even gave us a few moments to visit the Titanic Museum as a bonus. What could have been a disappointment became one of the best parts of the day. Bobo went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a fantastic experience. He's knowledgeable, funny, engaging, and clearly loves what he does. We've been on a few guided tours over the years, and without question, he's the best tour guide we've ever had. If you're lucky enough to have Bobo as your guide, you're in for a treat! We would have gone on a different tour with him if we had more time!
It was a great day trip. Good amount of time at each location. Plan what you want to do in Belfast ahead of time. Driver gave a guided explanation as we drove through important parts of each location. Excellent experience overall.
Thank you for your fantastic feedback! We're delighted you enjoyed your experience with Irish Day Tours and hope to see you again in the future.
Our tour was amazing and this was our favorite thing we have done so far on our trip. You have plenty of time to explore the Causeway and Belfast at your own pace which was great and our tour guide made the experience so memorable
We're thrilled to hear you enjoyed your day with us! Thank you for your kind words, and we hope to see you again on your next visit to Ireland.
Long tour but absolutely worth every minute. Our guide, Frank was funny and very knowledgeable. Great driver
Great driver, small group bus. Perfect way to wrap up our vacation. I would recommend this to any one looking for a fun day trip
We got to see the beautiful sights of the Dark Hedges and the Giant’s Causeway. However, our driver made the day very complicated and knocked two stars off of our experience. We booked to go to Belfast as well, which ended up being closed due to unforeseen circumstances, but we were supposed to have 40 minutes at the Hedges and 2 hours at the Causeway. The driver decided we would only have 30 minutes at the Hedges and 1 hour and 30 minutes at the Causeway, after almost leaving a girl at the gas station when she came back 1 minute late. We also went to lunch, which wasn’t part of the itinerary we booked, and we only had 45 min for lunch at a predesignated restaurant. Very loud music on the bus, especially early in the morning. An interesting day for sure.
