Nick did a fine job. Pretty funny. Handled a rude foreigner walking up to him and interrupting him while he was in the middle of speaking, very well. Stories were interesting, I wish I knew more about them to pick Nick’s brain. Maybe next time.
The tour was Informative and fun, easy to walk and easy to understand. Nick was a great tour guide, and very funny!
I’m giving it a 2 star only because it felt like a history tour. Nothing about it gave “ghost”. I went with my husband and kids. My kids went in thinking we were going to hear some cool ghost stories but it was definitely history. Which is not bad at all, but that’s not what we bought the tickets for. I should’ve done better research.
We nearly missed our appointment time due to a hold up at a restaurant but the guide was still waiting for us when we arrived. My family was the entire party, which was nice. Richard was our guide and he did an excellent job of enthusiastically relating the stories, which probably isn't easy with such a small crowd to work off of. The stories might have been a little too family friendly for my 12 and 16 year olds but it was a fun, unique experience overall.
This was an awesome spooky-historical tour. So many fun ghost stories, historical fun facts, and a knowledgeable, lively guide! Would definitely recommend if it’s your first time in DC and want a fun evening activity.
Nice tour. Appropriate for kids. My nine year old enjoyed it. Four main sites near to one another so not too much walking which my daughter appreciated.
Kinda cheesy, but younger teens or tweens would appreciate as not scary. Guide was informative.
Nick was great! Prompt and knowledgeable - suggested we visit a local museum that we hadn't heard of - it too was great! Thanks Nick for a neat evening activity.
I take ghost tours because I learn the often untold or hidden history for a city. A good story teller really does make the experience so much more enjoyable. Well done.
Kyle was very knowledgeable and personable and we enjoyed learning from him. He gave us a lot of history about DC in the area that we were unaware of, which was really cool! Also, it was awesome that fire tour let us move our walking tour to the following day when it was raining pretty hard on the original day of our planned tour. I always appreciate companies working with us to make sure it’s a good experience for all.
