Galveston a vu un nombre horrible de morts subites. Un nombre impie des îles chèrement partis, bien jamais partis. Leurs esprits se cachent dans les ombres, les allées, les escaliers et la tige THE Strand tous les jours! Les bâtiments historiques du 19ème siècle sur THE Strand sont devenus des sanctuaires fantômes. Et les fantômes à l'intérieur meurent d'envie de vous rencontrer. Joignez-vous à nous pour notre visite à pied d’une heure et demie et explorez les fascinants événements paranormaux sur le brin, la rue de l’horreur originale. Ouragans, guerre, feu et épidémies! Le pirate Jean Lafitte a même transformé l'île en un repaire de voleurs. Galveston a plus de fantômes que toute autre ville des États-Unis. Marchant dans la nuit, des personnages translucides vont flotter par les fenêtres. Des ombres apparaissent soudainement et les objets se déplacent d'eux-mêmes à mesure que nous nous rapprochons les uns des autres pour nous protéger mutuellement. Nous ne savons jamais ce qui nous attend au coin de la rue. Méfiez-vous et avoir peur! Après tout, Galveston n’est rien d’autre qu'un «cimetière avec une plage attenante».
À son apogée, cette gare ferroviaire voyait plus de 40 000 personnes par jour se rendre dans les bars, les casinos et les maisons de passe de Galveston. Un ingénieur du nom de William Watson divertirait les foules en plaçant des repose-mains sur la garde des moteurs pour le bétail. Un jour malheureux, il a glissé et a été immédiatement décapité. Un chapeau derby était toujours bien assis sur la tête et ils ont trouvé MILLES LOIN!
Tellement de dignitaires, de soldats, de politiciens et même de présidents sont arrivés… MAIS CERTAINS N'ONT JAMAIS ÉTÉ CHOISIS. On entend des sanglots dans les cages d'escalier et dans les couloirs. Un soldat de la guerre civile fait le tour du hall devant tout le monde pour le voir. Selon les rumeurs, un petit garçon joue dans l'hôtel comme le fantôme d'un enfant écrasé devant la façade de l'hôtel. Un fantôme utile décompressera même pour vous!
Charles F. Coghlan, célèbre acteur britannique, s'est rendu à Galveston pour se rendre sur la scène du Grand Opera House. Mais le pauvre Charles est mort avant que le rideau ne soit jamais levé. Que faire avec le corps de ce visiteur distingué? En attendant la réponse, THE GREAT STORM a démoli l’île et a conduit le cercueil de Charles au large. Il a flotté de Galveston à Prince Albert Sound avant de finalement atterrir… À peu près à un kilomètre de l'endroit où Charles allait se retirer!

Our guide Thomas was great. He was engaging and funny while still giving interesting historical & paranormal information. I’ve been on a couple ghost tours in Galveston but this was the first one that really conceptualized the horror and reality of the hurricane. This tour also included stories we had not heard before. Overall, it was an awesome tour.

Tour was good, but I thought we were going in the haunted buildings not just stand outside and talk about them. But with that being said Rob was excellent and told us a lot of cool and interesting things. Rob was amazing and knew a lot and he was easy to talk to. We would have liked a little more time at some of the stops. I knew we would be walking, but I didn't realize how many stairs we would be going up and down. Unfortunately I have a bad knee and after going up and down it started to hurt a bit. I thought the price was good. This would be good for a date night, night on the town, you learn a lot about Galveston is a little time. There was a perfect amount of people in our group.
