Dégustez des viandes locales, des spiritueux produits localement, des chocolats faits à la main et des spécialités culinaires uniques tout en explorant le quartier historique de Germantown lors de notre visite gastronomique et culturelle à pied. Germantown est le quartier le plus ancien de Nashville et l'un de ses quartiers réaménagés les plus récents et les plus branchés. Ses rues bordées de briques, ses maisons victoriennes et ses boutiques pittoresques ont été rénovées pour proposer des expériences gastronomiques à ne pas manquer ! En chemin, vous visiterez le marché fermier, traverserez les fontaines, les mâts et les clochers du centre commercial Bicentennial, passerez devant la promenade des comtés, le parc Sulphur Dell et traverserez le sommet historique de French Lick Creek, pendant que nous partageons les histoires des premières années de Nashville et de sa culture actuelle, le tout avec un guide local compétent et amusant et un petit groupe d'aventuriers gastronomiques !

Itinéraire
Nous commencerons la visite par le centre commercial Bicentennial magnifiquement conçu, où des fontaines, des carillons, des places uniques et une vue imprenable sur le bâtiment du Capitole donnent le ton à une visite informative et délicieuse.
Adjacent au State Park se trouve le marché fermier de Nashville, reconnu à l'échelle nationale, qui abrite non seulement des aliments uniques et fabriqués localement, mais aussi des artisans qui sont ravis de partager leurs compétences avec la communauté.
Vous verrez le musée d'histoire de l'État en route vers d'autres arrêts gastronomiques et une visite fascinante de Germantown, la première « banlieue » de Nashville et qui abrite des plats délicieux et des sites historiques ainsi qu'une architecture victorienne et des trottoirs en briques. L'endroit idéal pour flâner entre deux arrêts gourmands !
En cours de route, participez à un total de cinq dégustations de plats et de boissons, ce qui constitue une bonne quantité de nourriture pour le déjeuner pour la plupart des participants. Vous dégusterez des viandes, des pâtisseries et des confiseries locales, et partagerez un cocktail glacé et une dégustation guidée dans une distillerie hyper-locale.
Notre distillerie familiale est l'endroit idéal pour se rafraîchir à la fin de votre visite avec un cocktail inclus et un endroit lumineux et aéré pour se reposer après un peu plus d'un kilomètre de marche totale pendant la visite. Ici, vous apprendrez comment les spiritueux sont fabriqués et apprécierez essayer des spiritueux uniques. Au total, la visite comprend cinq dégustations et environ un kilomètre de marche sur environ trois heures. Nous avons hâte de vous faire passer un bon moment dans l'un des quartiers les plus populaires et historiques de Nashville !

We were only couple on today’s Germantown tour. Scott did an amazing job showing us the historic sights and explanations of Nashville and Tennessee. Additionally Scott was a great wealth of knowledge of the Nashville music scene and provided us with some great recommendations. The food stops gave a great perspective of Nashville’s history from the distillery, to fried chicken, cupcakes, gourmet chocolate and finishing off with BBQ. Each selection was well enjoyed. Highly recommend this tour.

Scott was our guide. Real interesting fellow who is a walking encyclopedia of knowledge on the history of Nashville and the legendary country/bluegrass music found there. Thoroughly enjoyed spending 3 hours with him sampling food & drink, touring the city park and going to the farmers market & Germantown. On our next trip to Nashville we hope to join up with him again.
The tour was okay. It is a lot of walking, and too few stops in between. We walked a very long time before we came to the first food stop. All of the food stops were crammed together at the end. And you didn't get much time to eat the food. It was a very hot day, and trying to eat all the food at once did not agree with my stomach. I wish they would have been spaced out more. I thought we were going to stop at the marketplace as advertised in the beginning of the tour, but we didn't. Our guide said it is a really good place and if we had time we should stop and check it out after the tour. That was very disappointing. Needless to say we weren't going to walk all the way back to where we started by the end of the tour. The guide was informative, but could have been more engaging. I believe his name was Ian, not positive.
Evan was the perfect combination of historian, comedian, and friendly tour guide. Evan gave us lots of insight tips about where to eat where to find things in town, and how to make the most of our experience as visitors. Evan was extremely friendly and approachable, and the food was delicious.
We got so lucky! We were supposed to go on a walking tour and the weather was awful! The tour company happily changed our tour to a driving tour and wow! We were blown away! Our guide Scott was OUTSTANDING! He made our tour so entertaining and informative - we laughed and laughed and the food and drink were the bonus! Thanks so much!
