Commencez par l'arc pittoresque de Charents, un point de vue panoramique surplombant le mont Ararat biblique. Continuez jusqu'au temple Garni du Ier siècle, le seul temple païen du Caucase, dédié au dieu solaire Mihr. À proximité, admirez l'époustouflante Symphonie des pierres, dramatiques colonnes de basalte formées par les forces volcaniques au fil des millénaires. Explorez le monastère Geghard, classé au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO, en partie creusé dans les falaises de la Haute Vallée de l'Azat. Complétez votre expérience avec une cérémonie de cuisson traditionnelle Lavash dans un four Tonir – le pain emblématique de l’Arménie, reconnu par l’UNESCO comme patrimoine culturel immatériel.

Itinéraire
Le premier arrêt est près de l'Arc de Charents, qui doit son nom au poète arménien Eghishe Charents, auteur du meilleur poème consacré à l'Arménie, rempli d'amour et de fierté. De cet endroit ouvre une vue imprenable sur Ararat, probablement la plus belle vue sur la montagne biblique.
Le prochain arrêt est le temple de Garni (77 après JC) - c'est le seul temple païen debout de toute la région post-soviétique. Le temple se dresse gracieusement sur un haut plateau surplombant les gorges de la rivière Azat. La zone environnante elle-même est incroyablement belle. Le bain gréco-romain avec la mosaïque, composée de 30000 pièces de pierres naturelles, ainsi que les ruines du palais royal, vous emmèneront au IIIe siècle après JC. Non loin du temple de Garni (environ 10 minutes à pied), il y a un restaurant local confortable avec une vue imprenable sur le temple, où vous pourrez vous détendre et participer à une classe de maître de dégustation de lavash fraîchement cuit - pain plat traditionnel arménien .
Ce majestueux monument naturel n’est pas seulement un lieu « incontournable » en Arménie, mais aussi un lieu « incontournable ». Veuillez noter* Les invités pourront visiter la "Symphonie des pierres" jusqu'aux premières chutes de neige.
Le complexe du monastère de Geghard est un autre site historique inclus dans cette visite. Saint Geghard symbolise la lance avec laquelle le centurion romain a transpercé Jésus après la croisade. Plus tard, la lance avait été apportée en Arménie et conservée au monastère de Geghard pendant 5 siècles. Le complexe présente l’Arménie du XIIIe siècle, considérée comme l’âge d’or de l’architecture du pays. Cependant, la partie la plus étonnante de ce complexe est sa solution architecturale des églises percées dans le roc solide qui ont été construites conformément aux règles de l’architecture arménienne. Le monastère de Geghard est inscrit sur la liste du patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO.

The tour is 19pax, not small but it charges a premium as small group. The itenary is good, with only 6 hours. The Symphony of Stones, the Geghard and lavash making all are unique experiences that makes the tour worthwhile.

Drove on June 14. We're very pleased. The tour is interesting - a lot of information on history, religion, traditions - and it's all accessible, easy to perceive. Guide Rubina talked all the way, answered all the questions exhaustively. The driver was driving us carefully. The car had air conditioning, the water in the fridge - the conditions were perfect. The route was thought out in detail. Despite Sunday and the crowds everywhere, there were no delays or expectations. A nice bonus in the form of local sweets. Definitely recommend travel agency and itinerary.
