Game Drive de 2 jours dans le parc national de l'Akagera, excursion en bateau à Ihema avec un 4x4 Choice

Shoutout to Bosco and Jean Claude for being amazing guides! They drove us to close to all the animals and gave us ample time to take pictures. Them and the 3 other guides were readily available to assist us with any questions or comments that we had about the trip.

The tour was amazing. Probably best price/value ratio of any Safari we saw online. We got to see so many different animals (lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, antilopes, crocodiles, hippopotamus, rhinos, various birds, and more). And the safari guides were very kind, open, well-organized, and flexible. It was great getting to know them and they really know what they're doing.

Went on this safari experience with a group of 11! We had such an awesome time and our guides were so friendly and knowledgeable. Plus saw every kind of big 5 animal up close :)

We had a great time on our recent 2-day Akagera trip with Countryside Tours! Both days were planned completely by the company, and everything ran perfectly on schedule. Our driver, Ben, was a second-generation guide who had tons of experience with the park. He told us about the history of the park, was eager to answer any question we had, and made sure we got the whole experience during our short trip. We even got to see all of the Big Five! Although this isn't guaranteed on any safari, especially in Akagera, thanks to Ben and our other night time guides we were able to locate lions, leopards, buffalo, elephants, and black rhinos! Highly recommend this tour to anyone planning to visit Akagera.

Very very good stay of 2 days in the Park with JP who will not drop anything to show you the maximum of animals. I had booked the accommodation on my own, wishing to go to Ruzizi and I was pleased. Everything is super well organized, JP knows the park very well and is Super Guide (he communicates with the other guides to know where the animals are at time H...). I highly recommend Countryside Tours, with top communication: you feel taken care of and just enjoy... Bravo!!!

Employing staff with experience in customer service, in that field our experience was dire, instead of giving solutions the customer has to find them.

We went to akagera for two days prior to a conference and it really exceeded our expectations! In rainy season the park was beautiful and green, with stunning views of rolling hills and wonderful lakes. Over two days we saw pretty much everything other than lions, including a herd of elephants, a leopard, rhinos, giraffes, hippos, crocodiles, hyena, zebra, Impala, baboons and warthogs as well as many bird species. Our guide Patrick was immensely friendly and professional and we couldn't recommend him highly enough.

Our guide Anaclet was very accomodating and knowledgeable. It is obvious he loves his job and his enthusiasm was infectious. We learned so much from him and enjoyed the time we spent with him.

We actually took 2 tours with Countryside. The day tour of Kigali and the 2 day Akagera tour. Both were fantastic. Olivier and Jonathan took us around Kigali and to the Genocide Memorial. We learned so much about the city and the growth of Rwanda. The next day, we were on our way to Akagera. What a trip! JP was our guide and he was determined to show us all of the animals. The lodge is beautiful and the staff was amazing. Between the boat tour, the night game drive and the full day, we saw nearly every animal. I would recommend this company and trip to anyone wanting to visit Rwanda.

What a fantastic two days! Everything was organized perfectly by Countryside Tours. Our guide, Patrick, was knowledgeable, fun, and helpful. After checking into the beautiful lakeside lodge, we had lunch then a private guided boat tour on Ihema lake where we saw hippos, Buffalo, crocodile, orangutans, warthog, and many birds. Shortly after getting back to the lodge, we were off on a night game drive. It was incredible! We saw a mother leopard with her 2 babies, hyenas, orangutans warthog, bush babies and tree hyrax. The hotel was prepared for our late dinner. After a great sleep Patrick collected us for our day-long game drive in the north of the park with Park Guide Justine. We were out exploring the park for the whole day and saw all the Big 5, plus many more. We had a picnic stop with bagged lunch from the hotel. We left Akagera around 5pm for the 3-hour drive back to Kigali. I would be happy to recommend Countryside for your safari, and am excited to be joining them for the 2-day Nyungwe Canopy experience later this week.
