A great day out to see the tea plantation and to check out Galle Fort with a few interesting stops along the way. Our guide Nuwan did a great job showing us the sights and he did a fantastic job driving us all the way back to Colombo in the night during heavy rain and peak hour traffic!
This trip was fantastic, lots of different places visited and Nuwan is friendly and knowledgeable guide.
This was a brilliant tour and Nuwan our guide tailored it to our exact needs. We wanted to do a full tea plantation tour and were not so worried about visiting beaches so he altered the plan to allow us to make the most of our day. He was very knowledgeable about the sites we visited and even took us to a couple of places that were not on the itinerary. We would definitely recommend this tour if you don’t have much time and Nuwan was wonderful.

We had a wonderful day out with Nuwan, our driver, who happily tailored the tour to suit our requirements. Nuwan was informative and knowledgeable, telling us all about the places we visited, and was a careful and steady driver, making our day relaxed and most enjoyable. Thank you, Nuwan. Highly recommend.
Definitely book this tour!! Nuwan was extremely polite, very knowledgeable and patient. You have enough time at all locations to explore without a feeling of being rushed. Plus solo time to go off and wander the sites of the Galle Fort. I couldn't recommend this tour enough it is definitely worth putting a day aside for this experience.
Great tour with Nuwan featuring lots of local sights and visits. A full day but great value and good local insights 👍
Brilliant day trip - to tea plantation, beaches, Galle etc and our guide Nuwan was the perfect host…very flexible on timings at each stop and nothing was too much for him and he pointed lots of things out to us -very knowledgable, great sense of humour and such a lovely friendly person…he really made our day! Great communication before being picked up was really impressed that he got myself and my daughters fridge magnets at the end of our trip…personalised from our conversations throughout the day! Thank you so much Nuwan!
It was a full day tour with some excellent stops. We wanted to see turtles released so our guide Nuwan, who was lovely, and informative, took us to a second sanctuary on the way back to the hotel at dusk, so we could see this. He was flexible with timings too, as we were the only people with him. This was effectively a private tour. He used his car which was great. The tea plantation and factory tour was an hour long, but Nuwan provided us with a bottle of water each as it was hot. Bring a hat as there's little shade. Bear in mind that there are entrance fees to pay at the plantation and the turtle sanctuary, along with a payment to be able to take photos of the stilt fisherman totalling £38 cash for the 2 of us. Nuwan helped us out here by paying in Rupees on our behalf and we gave him Sterling as it was easier. You will also need money for lunch and a donation at the Peace Pagoda along with any other purchases you make during the day. Nuwan contacted us before the day and answered all pur questions. He made our 30th wedding anniversary very special. We would highly recommend Nuwan!
An excellent day with several activities, all was well explained by our exceptional guide Nuwan, he ensured everything went smoothly and that we enjoyed our tour.
