Cette visite à pied authentique de la Funk Zone vous permet de pénétrer dans notre quartier le plus branché avec un guide local, d'explorer nos salles de dégustation de joyaux cachés, ainsi que la riche histoire de Santa Barbara, qui comprend la vinification et l'art. Cette visite de 2,5 heures comprend: (2) Dégustations de vins dans des salles de dégustation de vignobles locaux qui capturent l'esprit de cette partie éclectique de Santa Barbara (1) Dégustation de glaces gourmandes ... faites à partir de zéro à Santa Barbara dans notre plus célèbre glacier et crèmerie -Des aperçus historiques fascinants sur la zone artistique Funk (pleine de peintures murales et de galeries), ainsi que sur notre front de mer, notre quai, les îles anglo-normandes et l'architecture unique de Santa Barbara * Le point de rendez-vous de la visite est la gare Santa Barbara Amtrak 209 State Street, côté parking de la billetterie.

Melissa was amazing tour guide. She gave us so much history about Santa Barbara and the Funk zone. We went to 2 different wine rooms. One was in an industrial chic building with different food options. The second was established in 1962 a block away from the beach. The stop at McConnells ice cream was another great hidden gem of Santa Barbara.

We had a lovely stroll through the Funk Zone with Melissa informing us of Santa Barbara’s interesting history and highlighting the beautiful murals and quaint shops. The wonderful experience was topped off with wine and ice cream tasting!

This tour really gave us a flavor of the Funk Zone. Melissa was so knowledgeable about the area and its history. We saw a lot of the area's art and even happened upon a local artist who shared some of his work and insights with us. He even agreed to a picture (and autograph!)! It was so unexpected and wonderful! The wineries she took us to were great--I didn't know how much I liked the wines from Santa Barbara. The people at the wineries were friendly and interesting to chat with and Melissa struck the perfect balance between checking in on us and letting us talk privately while we were enjoying our wine. It could have been the wine, but I wanted to hug her when we left!

Our guide was knowledgeable about the Funk Zone, the history of local Craft beer & the art & architecture we saw. She made the experience really fun & made it manageable for one of our party who has physical limitations. I've lived in Santa Barbara for 48 years & I learned lots of new information. We all enjoyed the stops at the breweries & the stories along the way. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone from Santa Barbara or a visitor!

Melissa was marvelous and the wineries the best. I would have liked to walk more through the Funk Zone seeing galleries from the outside and less time in the wine venues or a longer tour so we could do it all.
We really enjoyed the tour guide-Liz. She seemed really knowledgeable, personable, and was very interesting. We loved the first place that we stopped for wine and the choices given. Jorde was very informative about the different choices. The second stop had a wonderful view and the man was knowledgeable about the area. We didn't like the wines as much there. I would've like to see more of the area but I guess there is only so much you can do in that time frame.
This tour is a Santa Barbara must! Great way to learn about the rich history surrounding the Funk Zone while getting to taste the local wine and peek into the thriving local entrepreneur spirit. 10/10
