Lovely Tour of New Delhi & Old Delhi

Gajendra was a fantastic tour guide. He is funny, kind, considerate, and an all-around delight to spend the day with. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the sites and historical monuments. His story telling skills kept us engaged and we learned so much! I enjoyed seeing Qutb Minar the most, and I loved learning about the intricate craftsmanship of ancient India that still stands today. Other stops we made were the Jama Masjid, Lotus Temple, India Gate, President house area, Raj Ghat, and Chandni Chowk. I had been eyeing Kashmiri bangles recently and Gajendra helped locate a shop where I can pick some up, as well as a couple souvenirs for other friends. He also brought us to a great Bollywood-themed restaurant called “Drama Delhi”, where we ate the most delicious and mouth-watering food. So much that, I don’t think any Indian restaurant back in the states will ever compare! Additionally, I need to note how accommodating he was with our timing needs. We book the night before and asked to meet around 8:30-9:00, and the tour even lasted a little longer than expected. He was also helpful in asking the driver to make a stop for us to exchange our currency. Which was necessary for the remainder of our trip! He also was very interactive and took lots of wonderful photos for my husband and our friend. He really has a great eye for photos! Gajendra has been running tours for 14 years and is a multi-lingual expert tour guide! He also runs tours for the Golden Triangle, and also a street food tour! If we had more time in India, we would book multiple days with him! Hopefully we get the chance to return to India and re-hire him so that we can get another immersive experience of the beautiful country of India.

Memorable Trip by an Unforgettable Host

Where do I begin since our host did such an excellent job! Less than 18 hours prior the trip starting, our request went through and Gajendra immediately managed to create an unforgettable tour in Delhi by visiting Qutub Minar, Jama Masjid, Lotus Temple, Raj Ghat Memorial, India Gate, the President’s House, Rashtrapati Bhavan, street shopping at Chandni Chowk on Old Delhi, a beautiful lunch at Drama in Connaught Place, and a quick drive by the Red Fort. EACH AND EVERY site included an expert insight mixed with history, personal knowledge/background info, and a fun drive in the way towards all monuments/visits. Not only was Gajendra a professional, but also made the experience feel like I was being led by a good friend. Navigation in the busiest city in the world felt like a breeze too but SAFE, wow!!My wife, close friend, and I are left not only with lovely pictures of Delhi but memories that we’ll never forget for these landmarks, Gajendra, and the driver who collaborated with him. I highly recommend booking with him if you want a core memory instilled in your head forever. Gajendra is also an expert of the country but particularly Agra and Jaipur outside of just Delhi.

Probably one of the best guided tour l've had

If you're looking for an exciting, fun and knowledge-rich introduction to Dehli, then look no further. Don't hesitate, just book. Gajendra is a true master of his craft, and went above and beyond to show us many spots in New and Old Dehli that gave us a taste for the city and its culture. Gajendra knows the city like the back of his hand, and for me personally when I visit somewhere - it's all about the access. Without Gajendra, we wouldn't have seen half of what we saw. From the beautiful architecture in the back alleys, to the grand Mosques, to the spice markets. Having Gajendra guide us was invaluable, as we constantly chatted with him and the rest of the group as we travelled / walked around, which just opens up that understanding of a culture so different to our own. Probably the best guided tour l've had. So if you need an introduction to the city - please, please just book this.

Delhi Visit

Thank you once again for arranging our Delhi tour. We had a really enjoyable experience exploring both the historical and modern sides of the city. The visit to Old Delhi was a highlight — full of life, colour, and great local insight. We also appreciated seeing India Gate and Gandhi’s memorial, along with several other key landmarks, which gave us a strong sense of the city’s heritage and culture. The tour was well organized, the timing worked smoothly, and our guide made the day both informative and relaxed. It was an excellent way to experience Delhi in a short time.

Amazing experience in Delhi with Gajendra!

Myself and my partner came for a wedding and we picked a last minute tour the night before and it was the best decision ever! We received a tailored tour just for the two of us, starting from old Delhi with some history, the Sikh temple and moved into the spice market that was not fully open but it was perfect for us. With the amount of people and culture we got a little bit overwhelmed but the guide was very good on keeping us moving. We enjoyed more history and culture even in the small details as the buildings and doors of some of the house with the information from Gajendra (very knowledgeable). Then after the mosque and walking around we took the metro to New Delhi and we saw the parliament side of the city the India gate and the gardens and we experienced the typical tuc-tuc in the city centre, the tour was going to end with the lotus temple but the queue was too long and we decided to leave it for a future visit. Gajendra was very nice and we mentioned the fact that we were looking for some traditional clothes and he took us to the perfect place were we got everything we were looking for and he stayed with us to the end even though we took longer than expected. We recommended a lot the experience and we will pass his contact to friends as a future reference!! Definitely worth it!

Highly recommend!

We had an incredible day exploring Old and New Delhi with Gajendra as our guide. His deep knowledge of the history and culture of the city brought every site to life, from the bustling streets of Chandni Chowk to the serene beauty of Humayun’s Tomb. Gajendra’s professionalism and friendly demeanor made the experience enjoyable and seamless. He was incredibly patient, answered all our questions, and even helped us discover hidden gems we wouldn’t have found on our own. If you’re visiting Delhi, I highly recommend Gajendra for a truly memorable and enriching tour. He made us feel comfortable and ensured we had an amazing time in this vibrant city!

Best Tour in India

This tour was absolutely amazing. The personalization that was created for me and my family was something I have never experienced. From the second I reached out with questions until the end of all the tours I booked with him everything went perfectly. My family felt safe, happy and content!!! They wish they could’ve stayed more days in India due to how welcoming and amazing the tours with Gajendra were. Thank you for all the effort you put in and the safety you provided for my family.
