Ronaldo was a fantastic guide, best of the best, so knowledgeable, also entertaining, and speaks english and spanish beautifully, couldn’t have asked for a better guide or experience.
A very fun day in Minca! Highly recommend this experience for visitors who are not planning to go to a Coffee or Cocoa Farm and/or who want to get out of the city and into nature. Included a great little hike to a waterfall, stop to get a local artisanal beer, coffee and cacoa experience, as well as a fantastic lunch and great guide. Ronaldo was so knowledgeable about minca, biodiversity, chocolate, and coffee. He is super charismatic and funny and speaks fantastic English. He also did a great job of saying everything in English and Spanish so all visitors could understand during the experience. Complimentary bug spray would be nice, if possible at the start! Our driver Manuel was also very kind and professional.
Absolutely loved the Full-Day Hiking Tour in Minca! The scenery was beautiful, the hike was enjoyable, and the coffee and cocoa workshop was such a fun and authentic experience. We learned so much about how coffee and cocoa are produced, and getting to taste everything made it even better. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole day feel relaxed and memorable. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Minca! 🌿☕🍫
The tour is very interesting. The guide Cris is very entertaining and you can tell he loves the place. Good lunch and the chocolate experience is great. You learn a lot in a fun way.
Excellent experience on the tour, I appreciate that you accepted my reservation with so little advance notice. They pick you up directly at the hotel and you travel directly to Minca, where they welcome you with great kindness. I highlight the work of Ronaldo, who was our guide, very kind and with great friendliness. The walk to get to the coffee workshop is highlighted, it is a place that allows you to connect with nature. Lunch is in a place with a wonderful view of Santa Marta.
Went into this with zero expectations but we were so pleasantly surprised throughout the tour. Ronaldo was so funny, knew tons of fun facts, and he truly made the experience memorable. The pace was very chill, we tried coffee, made some chocolate, tried local beers. Lunch was pretty average but they had a vegetarian option which was better than the chicken. There were platform issues, so confirm your booking the morning of by calling Viator.
This was the best tour I’ve taken in Colombia! We took the Comuna 13 tour, the Guatapé tour, and more, and this one was the best! Ronaldo makes this a very personable tour and goes above and beyond. He made sure everyone got to do or see what they came for! Plus the coffee finca and chocolate workshop were so educational and delicious!! Next time I’m in Colombia I will be doing the tour again!
The whole experience was excellent, especially the guide, I think his name was Ronaldo. The day was enjoyed between the hike and observing the surroundings, the explanation and the workshops, an excellent lunch with a drink included, and a swim in the waterfall.
Great experience and a lot of fun. The hike is beautiful. The guide was great and he kept everyone involved.
Overall, a great experience for a family of 4 of us. The cocoa farm was the most interesting part of the trip. Our guide had a good knowledge about the cocoa history and we learn about the steps of production of the chocolate. The drive out and back was painful, the clutch most likely has to be changed in that minivan. ... and I got "Minca legs" :)
