Visite guidée d'une journée historique de l'Algarve occidentale

Description

A very long hot day seeing the lovely algarve area. Really interesting and well planned. Mario was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and personable. Loved Lagos. Loved the fresh figs and oranges.
Good overall experience, excellent guide, convinient pickup, overall good but felt a bit costy. Some locations shown were stunning.
Beautiful beautiful piece of Portugal seen. The stories about its history were of added value. Benny was a great guide who gave the day an extra edge. Another wonderful memory! Bert and Brigitte
Andre was THE best tour guide. As a family of 4, he made it fun for us adults and our younger children. Full of history, facts and some jokes! 110% would recommend. John, Bex, Sophie and Ted
Nice day trip to the western point of The Algarve.
We really enjoyed our trip with our guide and driver Paulo. We were mixed group of Brits, a Brazilian from Australia and a French couple. Paulo could keep both hands on the wheel a bit more often and we did rattle about a bit, but he was actually a very good driver indeed. The narrow roads in the hills were stimulating. Cape St Vincent was spectacular but you do need trainers and a fleece! It was 18 degrees and really very, very windy. 10k away it was 32. Talking of clothing, people should know, but some don't, that to visit a Cathedral you have to cover up. No vests, bare arms or skimpy shorts. We saw people of various genders and nationalities sent packing (including one disgraceful chap who shouted abuse at the lady in the church. How horribly rude of him. My wife told him what she thought of his behaviour. We also found that for modest charges for entry to the Cathedral and Castle we needed cash. Staff at the castle were particularly unhappy to let us pay by card and the Cathedral refused. Our cash was in the minibus and Paulo had popped off!Understandable, our mistake. Lagos was an interesting bustling and cool place. 2 hours there. Loads of places to eat and the museum and the Golden Church were great. Shh not use what three words to get back to the pick up spot (or just get lost like one of our party did.). Communication with the company was very good and we easily arranged to be picked up near our villa in Olhos de Água just outside Albufeira. Yes, we did spend half the trip in the minibus, but LOOK OUT OF THE WINDOWS... there's loads to see, people to chat with and Paulo to be entertained by. SPOILER ALERT Bonus stops included Bonnie Tyler's long term home and a road named after Sue Barker's knighted friend. Dave and Sadie, Peterborough. (Just north of Cambridge, we tell people who ask)
The trip was excellent! Mario was very knowledgeable and ensured we all had the best time. Everything went smooth and on time. We had a great time, thank you! Tanya and Alec from the UK
Absolutely fabulous day, Benny very informative and is great with telling us all about the history. Would highly recommend to everyone.
The guide provided many explanations, was very cheerful, and stopped along the way to show us different wild plants.
This full-day tour was one of the highlights of my time in Portugal, made even more special by our wonderful guide, Mario. His knowledge, passion, and enthusiasm brought every destination to life and gave us a much deeper appreciation for the regions we visited. My personal highlights were the breathtaking views at Cape St. Vincent, the southwesternmost point of Europe, and the charming town of Lagos. I am so grateful for this experience and would wholeheartedly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Portugal.
