Tôt le matin, nous viendrons vous chercher à votre logement, et nous nous dirigerons vers l'est d'Oulan-Bator pour visiter la statue équestre de Chinggis Khaan (complexe Tsonjin Boldog). La statue est considérée comme la plus grande statue équestre du monde. Le site est associé à des événements historiques où Chinggis Khaan a trouvé un fouet en or. Après le déjeuner, vous conduirez au parc national de Terelj et ferez une randonnée à cheval d'une heure dans la vallée du NP de Terelj avec les formations rocheuses intéressantes de. À côté de Turtle Rock, vous attraperez Eagle sur votre épaule. Ensuite, vous ferez une randonnée jusqu'au temple Ariyabal. Le temple est situé sur la pente de la montagne et est un endroit idéal pour une courte randonnée. La forme géographique unique de Terelj a été créée par l'influence de l'eau et du vent pendant des millions d'années. Par conséquent, vous pouvez prendre de belles photos panoramiques. Après la journée complète, nous vous transférons à votre hébergement UB ou à l'aéroport.

Nous nous rendons à la destination touristique la plus proche et la plus célèbre d'Oulan-Bator, le parc national de Gorkhi-Terelj et la statue équestre de Gengis Khan (complexe Tsonjin Boldog), une statue de 40 mètres de haut qui est considérée comme la plus grande statue équestre du monde. Vous en apprendrez davantage sur le Grand Empire mongol, ainsi que sur l'histoire des Mongols au cœur de l'Asie et leur conquête à travers le monde.
Vous verrez la nature de la région sud-ouest de la chaîne de montagnes Khenti Nuruu, qui est la fin de la taïga sibérienne. Les paysages naturels et l'air frais de cette zone forestière montagneuse aux formations rocheuses uniques sont extraordinaires. Vous ferez l'expérience de l'équitation qui a joué un rôle essentiel dans le mode de vie nomade mongol.
Outre sa nature, le temple d'Aryabal est l'un des plus beaux sites du parc national de Gorkhi-Terelj. Il est situé à proximité du rocher de la tortue, à 56 km de la ville d'Oulan-Bator. Les environs regorgent de formations granitiques situées au milieu de vallées et de collines pittoresques avec une rivière sinueuse et des bosquets d'arbres. Le dieu Aryabal est un dieu bouddhiste qui écoute toutes les prières de l'humanité et aide à libérer l'humanité de la souffrance. Le temple a été construit en forme de tête d'éléphant. L'escalier menant au temple se compose de 108 marches, ce qui est un nombre de bon augure dans le bouddhisme. Il symbolise également la trompe allongée de l'éléphant. De plus, des panneaux avec 144 enseignements bouddhistes, écrits en anglais et en mongol, bordaient les côtés du chemin menant au temple.

We had such an amazing experience during this tour. Our guide, Obe showed us the true Mongolian experience. It did not feel like it was a tour but more of a friend showing us his heritage. It wasn’t rushed, we took our time to explore, eat great food & even stopped by a Ger for some horse milk! Our commute was comfortable. The hospitality was great & the spots he brought us were beautiful. Definitely one for the memory books. Thank you Obe for spending the day with us & being family.
I would 100% recommend this to anyone visiting Mongolia who only has a day to spare. Obe was the best guide that anyone could ask for, speaks and explains clearly and throws in heaps of knowledge as well. Every part of the tour was a highlight, even randomly stopping for horse milk.
We had a great day - our guide was very knowledgeable and gave us a great introduction to Mongolia and Mongolian history. She made sure we got to the Chinggis Khaan statue just as it opened and guided us straight up to the top so we could get photos before the other tourists arrived. Horse riding was also a highlight. The tour was a great way to start our Mongolia trip.

We booked a last minute private tour (2 days before) and everything turned out perfect and seamless! We reached out to Meet Mongolia via WhatsApp, and they were incredibly helpful and prompt in their responses. My husband and I wanted to modify the tour on their website -- and they were more than happy and accommodating to change things specifically towards our wants. The day of the tour, our guide promptly picked us up on the dot in our hotel lobby, where we then jumped into a comfortable SUV with driver. On the way out to the sights, we stopped along the way to pick up any food/snacks we wanted from a large Carrefour supermarket. Our guide also bought us plenty of water for our day trip there as well. From there, we stopped at the Chinggis Khaan Statue/museum, visited Turtle Rock, held an eagle, and visited the Monastery, before heading back to our hotel in the city. Overall, we had a fantastic time, seeing everything we wanted to see on our tour. Our guide (I can't remember his name) was amazing. His English was perfect, and we really enjoyed our time with him. He was incredibly informative, but we also really liked how he gave us authentic and honest descriptions of places/history without it feeling too touristy. We would definitely recommend this tour to other travelers, and would reach out again if we ever return to Mongolia!

This was a wonderful and comprehensive tour with a very knowledgeable and friendly tour guide. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wanted to see some of Terelj. I was very impressed that they gave helmets to the group when we rode horses, as many places do not do that.
