Fuerteventura Deluxe Catamaran Tour avec repas et boissons

We booked in advance for myself and my friend to enjoy a day at sea. We chose deluxe as we wanted to treat ourselves. It was fairly pricey, almost double normal standard catamaran trips. Pick up was fine, convenient from a nearby hotel. Aircon on bus. We arrived and promptly were on the boat. The only thing deluxe about it was that it was 12 people, as opposed to the 100 people you get in a standard catamaran trip. The staff was polite. We saw some dolphins in a distance. The sea was very choppy, and we got splashed a lot due to this, not just a little splash, more like someone threw a bucket of water over you. Not a fault of the crew, just choppy water. We seemed to just circle around the same bit of water like 3 times, we then did pull up for lunch and a swim. The swim, I think the crew thought we would all do for an hour, but it was cold so most people just had a quick dip and then out again. The wait for lunch was around an hour once we had parked up. Do not be deceived though, it is not good by a top chef, it is a tiny little portion. It was a little pot of cous cous with some cucumber at the top, and the ‘main’ was a piece of beef, 3 small potatoes, and some mushroom sauce. It was nice enough, but not ‘deluxe’ and barely a portion size for a small child. Also, all 12 people on board gathered around 2 tables for lunch, it was a squeeze and very intimate bearing in mind we were all strangers. We were then offered a shot of honey rum after. One lunch was done, we headed back to the harbour and a coach took us back to our pick up point. The only ‘deluxe’ aspect I would say is that it’s 12 people max. I would not book anything like this in future and would book a standard catamaran where the food is better, bigger portions, and there is more atmosphere, with some background music. Also, whilst they say drinks included, we were only offered one soft drink, and the wine is not served until lunch. It’s not worth the money. Save your money and book a standard catamaran.

It is a highly recommended experience. The journey is very pleasant and the crew makes it very entertaining (in our case it was Eva and Alvaro)

Great trip by catamaran Crew was super nice Unfortunately there were no whales or dolphins to see The food was supposed to be from a top chef, but he had a bad day. But that was beside the point, it was a great tour

Brilliant experience, didn’t see dolphins but saw whales so that was more than enough. Weather was perfect, cold drinks, excellent starter and main. Swimming by the Shore was fantastic. Crew (Carmen and Jesus) were 10/10. Would highly recommend, worth every penny

Unfortunately the trip was cancelled due to bad weather / too much wind. But the contact was quick and nice, alternative dates unfortunately did not fit to our remaining holiday anymore. The refund came immediately. Therefore, no evaluation of the excursion, but of the provider.

It was just amazing! We had the best time with Majid and Vincent :) We enjoyed lunch together, saw dolphins and had a really good time. Big thank you to the nice, warm and funny boys Vincent and Majid :) 100% enjoy!

For the two skippers, Majid and Andres and the time on board clearly 5 stars But: Don't expect too much. The first thing that really annoyed was the unfriendly owner (mature gentleman at the port who checked the tickets). The digital age has seemingly passed this gentleman by in a hurry. He has had the discussion with several paying customers that a digital ticket is not really a ticket. Even if you have received it this way, you have to bring it with you in a printed version and best of all via the app. So here I am forced to download the app from TripAdvisor on my phone and organize a printer? The tone was really not friendly (quote:...you don't have to tell me what a ticket looks like. I've been doing the job for a long time...quote end). We weren't the only ones he had to argue with. In the description "the food is prepared by a top chef" lies the devil in the detail. It should be called "was"! (where you don't know what top chef means). Because a top chef would know that you should not vacuum roast beef and then heat it in a water bath after some time. It was bone dry. So food is completely sealed in the vacuum bag and then heated in the cooking pot. It's not always bad but in this case not advisable. Actually, I only wanted to give 3 stars because of the circumstances described above but the tour itself with the entertaining and careful skippers Majid and Andres ripped a lot out. You should just be aware that there are only a few loops on the water and there is nothing exciting to see.

We stayed with 3 adults at Borad by Vincent and Karol. It was a dream from start to finish. We were yesterday (29.04.25) on the Magic Deluxe Tour, you were led to the matching ship and received friendly on board. The two were super nice, everything was explained. Karol also went to great lengths to understand all guests and was always available as a contact person. There was a good selection of non- and alcoholic drinks. There was a break for swimming in the sea, then there was a 3 course lunch (choice was vegetarian or with meat, it was also asked about allergies or intolerances). This was also highly recommended. We invested a few euros extra to use the catamaran with about 12 people (as this mass tourism is not for us) and this paid off completely. In addition, there were a lot of dolphins to see that day. If we come here again, this definitely belongs on the to-do list
