Après avoir récupéré tous les participants, nous irons prendre un café où vous pourrez acheter votre petit-déjeuner, des en-cas et de l'eau pour la journée. Nous ferons également un arrêt au magasin de location de vêtements pour que vous puissiez louer les vêtements et l'équipement nécessaires pour cette aventure au ski.
À cette étape, nous laisserons ceux qui passeront la journée entière à El Colorado, l'une des stations de ski les plus emblématiques du Chili, située dans les Andes, tout près de Santiago, idéale pour ceux qui veulent découvrir la neige, skier, faire du snowboard ou simplement profiter de la montagne enneigée en famille ou entre amis.
À cet arrêt, nous déposerons tous ceux qui passeront la journée au parc des neiges de Farellones. Bien que le ski et le snowboard soient possibles, la plupart des activités ne requièrent aucune expérience, ce qui en fait une expérience accessible et passionnante pour les visiteurs qui souhaitent simplement s'amuser dans la neige et admirer le paysage.
Valle Nevado est l'une des stations de ski les plus grandes et les plus modernes du Chili et d'Amérique du Sud, située dans les Andes à environ 46-60 km à l'est de Santiago. Située à plus de 3 000 m d'altitude, elle a été conçue pour offrir des expériences de neige complètes, des débutants aux experts. I took 6 ski day trips with Condor Explorer and had 6 wonderful experiences. Jesus was my guide, and he was prompt, knowledgeable, trustworthy, friendly, and fluent in both Spanish and English. For example, on a heavy snow day Jesus installed chains on all four wheels of the tour van, even though only two were required. When he saw that a car in front of us was having dangerous trouble with traction, Jesus got out and gave the driver some advice on how to drive in the snow that clearly helped. Later, when he saw that another tour van was having trouble changing a flat tire, Jesus again got out and showed them how to adapt their jack to get the wheel off. He even helped a local business by suggesting that they open early to offer passengers breakfast. As far as I can tell, everybody loves Jesus and I can see why. He's a really cool guy. Jesus is also an expert driver and trained in emergency medicine. Ultimately, I can think of no higher praise than to say that in the Andes mountains I would trust Jesus with my life. When I decide to return to Chile, the first thing I will do is book a tour with Condor Explorer. --- I took six one-day ski excursions with Condor Explorer and had six wonderful experiences. Jesús was my guide; he was punctual, expert, reliable, and friendly, in addition to speaking both Spanish and English fluently. For example, on a day with heavy snowfall, Jesús put chains on all four wheels of the van, even though they were only required on two. Upon seeing that a vehicle in front of us was having dangerous traction problems, Jesús got out and advised the driver on how to drive in the snow, which proved clearly helpful. Later, upon observing that another tourist van was having difficulty changing a flat tire, Jesús got out again and taught them how to adapt their hydraulic jack to remove the wheel.
