De Cusco: Moray, Maras Mines de sel et Chinchero Weavers Demi-journée

Cette excursion d'une demi-journée à Moray et Minas de Sal vous permet de vous aventurer dans une partie de la Vallée Sacrée, sur de belles terres agricoles à l'extérieur de Cusco et à proximité de l'ancienne ville andine de Chinchero. Vous visiterez les sites suivants : le centre textile andin de Chinchero, Moray, le village de Maras et les mines de sel.

Itinéraire
Nous viendrons vous chercher à votre hôtel entre 8h20 et 8h40 et nous dirigerons vers Chinchero situé à 3 762 mètres d'altitude.
Nous apprécierons le marché traditionnel, où ils pratiquent le troc, nous visiterons l'atelier de tissage là-bas, les habitants locaux qui pratiquent encore la tradition QUECHUA, ils nous montreront comment ils obtiennent les couleurs des plantes naturelles et vous pourrez prendre de belles photos habillés en costume andin. vêtements (À ce stade, vous ne visiterez qu'une partie de la ville de Chinchero et un centre textile andin.)
Nous continuons vers MORAY situé à (3 450 m/11 318 pieds) où nous trouvons les terrasses agricoles avec leur système complexe d'irrigation et de terrasses, différents niveaux de terrasses sont creusés dans un immense bol, dont une partie a été fouillée plus avant par les Incas, il on pense qu'elles ont été utilisées par les Incas pour découvrir les conditions de croissance optimales pour leurs cultures, ces terrasses servaient de serre naturelle pour cultiver une extraordinaire variété de cultures à une altitude normalement peu propice aux cultures, les Incas étaient très avancés dans le connaissance de la création de sous-climats spécifiques.
Ensuite, nous nous dirigeons vers les Mines de Sel, en chemin nous verrons le village de Maras où sa beauté architecturale coloniale est encore préservée, vous verrez que les bâtiments sont en pierre fine, puis nous nous dirigerons vers Salineras, la mine de sel se compose de 3000 petits piscines, tous les trois jours, pendant la saison sèche, les ouvriers remplissent les piscines avec de l'eau salée provenant de sources chaudes naturelles, cet endroit a été travaillé depuis l'époque pré-inca jusqu'à nos jours, le sel est broyé, traité avec de l'iode, conditionné et envoyé à différents marchés de la région.
Enfin, vous retournerez à Cusco (vers 15h15 près de la Plaza de Armas) à temps pour profiter d'un déjeuner par vous-même.

Nous viendrons vous chercher entre 8h20 et 8h50, cela dépend de l'emplacement de votre hébergement. Un jour avant, nous coordonnerons l'heure exacte de prise en charge. Si vous êtes en dehors du lieu de prise en charge, nous pouvons venir vous chercher à la plaza de armas (place principale de Cusco). Notre personnel vous demandera à la réception.

The view with Ruben and Jaime was wonderful! Ruben is very passionate about explaining everything that surrounds us, not just the places visited, but also the culture that surrounds us in these places, you can see that he really likes what he does! The bus trip was calm, Jaime is an excellent driver! Two people during the trip were not feeling well due to altitude sickness and Ruben and Jaime helped them a lot, with agua florida, blankets. The proposed activities are very interesting and the local inhabitants and the businesses are very kind and helpful! Highly recommended
An excellent tour that looks at three interesting areas. The textiles demonstration in Chichero was brilliant and a real surprise - the family working there were wonderful hosts and it was really interesting to see the traditional techniques used to spin, dye and weave. The visit to the salt mine was also really interesting. Only suggestion would be to include a lunch stop as it’s definitely more of a whole day rather than a half day trip, leaving at 8.30 and returning at 3.30

The tour was spectacular, the guide Hipólito was very charismatic and kind, he was always attentive to whatever you needed and was very interested in making sure you learned about the history. Very organized and everything on time, I would definitely recommend this tour.

Hipo did a fantastic job leading the tour. I loved the salt mines, agricultural site, and the weavers. If you’re interested in purchasing authentic Peruvian textiles keep in mind they accept credit card as well. Never felt rushed at all. Highly recommend this service to anyone as a day trip from Cusco (it says half day but it’s pretty much a full day).
