Nous nous retrouverons à la gare CFF de Bâle et profiterons ensuite d'un trajet panoramique d'une heure en train jusqu'à Lucerne
Lucerne est l'une des villes les plus pittoresques de Suisse, réputée pour son architecture médiévale bien préservée, son pont de la chapelle emblématique et son cadre magnifique au bord du lac des Quatre-Cantons avec vue sur le mont Pilatus. Au cours de notre tour de ville de 2 heures, nous nous promènerons dans la charmante vieille ville, visiterons quelques points de repère clés et profiterons de nombreuses occasions de prendre de belles photos de cette destination parfaite pour les cartes postales.
Après la visite, vous aurez environ 1 heure de temps libre pour déjeuner, parcourir les magasins locaux ou simplement vous imprégner de l’atmosphère à votre rythme.
En début d’après-midi, nous embarquerons dans le pittoresque train panoramique reliant Lucerne à Interlaken. Ce voyage relaxant de 2 heures offre une vue imprenable sur la nature suisse - lacs étincelants, prairies vallonnées et paysages alpins majestueux - ce qui en fait l'un des plus beaux trajets en train du pays.
À Interlaken, nous explorerons la ville ensemble, à la découverte de ses belles vues sur les montagnes et de ses rues charmantes. Vous aurez également du temps libre pour magasiner des souvenirs suisses, du chocolat ou des produits locaux avant que nous continuions notre voyage.

Julianna was the perfect tour guide! She was very sweet, patient, and knowledgeable! She handled all of the logistics of the trains and everything went very smoothly! The train ride was clean, comfortable and perfect for viewing the amazing scenery! Time allowed in Lucerne and Interloken great for grabbing a bite to eat and souvenir shopping! I highly recommend this tour in you are in Basel and want to see two spectacular Switzerland towns!
It was a full day. We toured city of Lucerne, beautiful city. The panoramic train to Interlaken was wonderful. Our tour guide Julianna went above & beyond to give us information about the area, she was lovely. Great experience, I would recommend especially if you have never been to Switzerland.
Aside from the group size being ideal, John, our guide, made the experience relaxing and truly memorable. I’m already looking forward to my next tour!
This tour was one of the best we’ve done and has been a highlight of our short stay in Switzerland. Petra, our guide, was lovely and very knowledgeable and well organized throughout. The trains both from Basel, then Zurich, were clean and puntual and the views from the panoramic train from Lucerne to Interlaken were spectacular! Both Lucerne and Interlaken are charming and it was well worth the travel to visit them. One small hiccup was the notification of the meeting time change in the morning by almost an hour earlier than originally scheduled. . It was only pure luck that we happened to check the Viator App on the morning of the tour and saw the message. We had already gotten our tickets earlier and stowed them in our phone wallet. So ordinarily wouldn’t have checked the app and would’ve missed the meeting time. Please Viator, send late changes to your itinerary to email in future!!

Such a beautiful train ride! Highly recommend. Our guide made all the train arrangements and stops very easy. Not much to see in Interlaken but we learned some interesting history in Lucerne. Just know that the focus is on the train ride, not the stops.

The guide was great and very knowledgeable — we really did like her. However, the quality of the train tickets and the overall time constraints felt disappointing and poorly structured from the beginning. The amount of time we had in both Lucerne and Interlaken was extremely limited. The tour breakdown provided beforehand made it seem like we would have approximately a two-hour guided tour along with an hour and a half of free time. In reality, we ended up with roughly a half hour of free time in Lucerne following our tour, and we barely had any opportunity to truly see Interlaken. Once we arrived onsite to Interlaken we were told to return in again about a half hour total. That timeframe included the “tour,” which ultimately did not occur because there simply was not enough time. Additionally, the tour was advertised as a premium panoramic train experience, yet we were placed in economy seating without assigned seats on any of the trains. This made the experience unnecessarily stressful, and on the final train I was unable to sit with my family, which was not ideal. Would take the train again just for the wonderful views but direct or through another company. Breakdown we were provided attached for reference.

That said, we take your other points seriously. Regarding timing: tour breakdowns are always an estimate, as the pace naturally varies depending on the group. We'll work on making our descriptions more transparent about this so expectations are better set from the start. As for seating: Swiss intercity trains are public transportation — seats are not assigned or guaranteed. On busy routes this can mean finding available seats separately, especially with a larger group. We apologize if this made part of the journey less comfortable.
