Depuis Aqaba : Visite privée d'une journée du Wadi Rum et de Petra

We had an absolutely great time! The itinerary was carefully planned to provide a comprehensive experience without overwhelming visitors with information, especially about Petra. Our driver, Osama, was very accommodating and knowledgeable as he shared with us his insights about Aqaba during our drive to Petra. Our guide, Ahmad, was very knowledgeable about Petra, and we learned a lot from him. We highly recommend Zaid Tours and Travel!

This was excellent. Very helpful, informative guides along the way - especially at Petra. Great value for money, personalised commentary, every question answered. We’d do it again in a heart beat. Then to add to it, we left our phone in the minivan and they raced it back to us. Fantastic service.

We had a really great time! The tour was very well organized, the driver extremely nice, the guides very competent and knowledgeable. We only wish we had more time to explore, because there are so many great places to see and visit!

It’s a very good excursion and experience is great! The only thing that’s not acceptable is I didn’t get a refund after I modified my ticket from 4 travelers to 3 travelers with no explanation given. Modification was done within 48 hours before the excursion which is within the policy.

Mahmoud, my driver, was a fantastic, safe driver. He was interesting and easy to talk to. He is s great guide. I booked from the NCL Jade and he came early and got me back to the ship with an hour to spare. Basil, my guide, in Petra was educated in Nabatean culture and could read the language. He was very knowledgeable. I wish he helped more with the other Bedouins harassing us and I was unaware that when we got into the city, he would just leave me there solo to return on my own. The old Bedouin who drove me around Wadi Rum was nice and interesting. It is difficult to get in and out of the back of the truck and he will not touch a woman. I understand; he did say I could sit inside but it ruins the experience. Because I had three guys to tip, I didn’t know, it was hard to keep it even. Please give us a heads up on the trip. Mahmoud really saved me though— he kept me safe and, if I needed to eat or whatever, was always willing to stop etc.

February might not be the best month as we saw ice and snow on our drive, but we were well looked after by Mason. Had a fab day in both Petra and Wadi Rum. Walking shoes needed for Petra and tip take the golf buggy back up. Wadi rum you are on the back of a jeep so wear a coat as it does get cold. But what an adventure we were collected at 8am and came home 7pm nothing too much trouble

No driver at the rendezvous for a trip to Petra TripAdvisor not serious at all. I do not recommend going through them

This was everything I hoped for and so much more! I was in Aqaba on a cruise ship and none of the excursions offered on the ship included both Petra AND Wadi Rum. I found this option through Viator and was advised that while they would try to accomodate me, it was possible they couldn't due to the time of my ship's late arrival and that I was trying to pack a lot into a short period of time. I understood that and decided to just hope for the best. Osama was waiting for me at the dock and we discussed what I wanted to do and we decided to do our best to go to both sites. My driver, Osama, was WONDERFUL!!! He was helpful, informative, and a delight to spend the day with. We wasted no time in leaving for Petra so we could arrive before the tour groups coming from the ship, ensuring that I could get a golf cart down to see the Treasury, which saved a great deal of time. After seeing the amphitheatre and other sites of Petra, we started off for Wadi Rum and arrived with plenty of time to ride though the desert, have tea with the Bedoins, and see a spectacular sunset. From there, Osama proceeded to take me on a tour of Aqaba, and I was able to do some shopping. My incredible day was capoed off by enjoying a traditional Jordanuan dessert. Osama was the absolute best and this incredible day could not have been made any more perfect! As an American woman travelling alone, I felt entirely welcomed, safe, and comfortable. This was an excellent example of excellent communication, managing expectations, and then far exceeding those expectations. I highly recommend!!! THANK YOU!!!

A wonderful excursion. Ared, the driver was waiting for us at the exit of the boat with my name/surname. Very warm Welcoming from him despite the language barrier (we are not good at English...) He used a strategy to promote our understanding along the way with his translator and/or to rephrase in English, to make us understand the history and/or practices of the surrounding population. We stopped at a first viewpoint, then at a tourist shop with another viewpoint. Then we met a French guide in Petra, just for us, an exciting (and passionate) guide, thanks again to him for the transmission of the history of this BEAUTIFUL place. We cut short the excursion following the trip the day before to get on the boat, jet lag, a lot of walking in Petra, we were exhausted and unfortunately we did not go to see the Wadi Sum desert. But it was our doing because the jeep was waiting for us. And finally, after having exchanged with other cruise lines, it is easier and faster to get there by car than by bus, and especially cheaper than by a tour company via your cruise line. This is especially better personalized in time management. The vehicle was comfortable, the Jordanians are really very welcoming! This private tour was perfect from beginning to end. Our driver, Mosaab was the kindest people we met in Jordan and he did everything to make us feel as good as possible. The jeep tour in Wadi Rum was mind-blowing (special thanks to Sami). Visiting Petra was another dream come true. It was definitely one of the best days of our lives.
