Ce circuit est l'un des circuits spéciaux en Jordanie, à commencer par la belle ville d'Amman, l'amphithéâtre romain où il se trouve au milieu de la capitale Amman, le château d'Amman, ainsi qu'un petit tour dans les vieux marchés d'Amman . Ensuite, nous nous dirigeons vers l'est vers la plus belle chose construite par les Omeyyades, le palais al Kharana, le palais Amra et enfin le château noir (château Al-azraq).

Une visite au théâtre romain, c'est comme faire un voyage de quelque 2000 ans dans l'histoire où l'amphithéâtre abritait autrefois plus de 5000 spectateurs et est encore utilisé actuellement pour des événements théâtraux.
La Citadelle d'Amman est un bon endroit pour commencer une visite des sites archéologiques de la ville. C'est le site de l'ancien Rabbath-Ammon et les fouilles y ont révélé de nombreux vestiges romains, byzantins et du début de l'islam. Situé sur une colline, il donne non seulement aux visiteurs une perspective de l'incroyable histoire de la ville, mais offre également une vue imprenable sur toute la région. Parmi les endroits les plus merveilleux que vous pouvez visiter à Amman, il y a quelques endroits d'intérêt spécifique à la Citadelle d'Amman
Il y a beaucoup de curiosité autour de Qasr Kharana car bien qu'il ressemble à un château, il n'y a aucune preuve qu'il puisse jamais défendre ses habitants. Contrairement aux autres châteaux de défense, les tours sont en fait solides et les meurtrières sont trop hautes pour tirer quoi que ce soit. En raison de sa construction unique, ce monument a attiré beaucoup d'attention sur les historiens, et les visiteurs viennent ici du monde entier chaque année pour voir ce château unique du désert.
Qasr Amra Situé à côté de Wadi Al-Butum, du côté nord de l'autoroute jordanienne 40, à environ 85 km d'Amman et à 21 km au sud-ouest d'Al-Azraq. est un bel endroit à visiter

This tour was a good way to enjoy a road trip in some of the further reaches of Jordan and the heart of its capital. Each historic site had its own vibe. It was an interesting experience to be able to walk and climb around each of the places. After the desert we went back to the city and witnessed the real, busy and beautiful life around town with our driver, Safwat. He was the man to go to town with for sure — he knew the best places for everything, especially the snacks! It was a relaxing day compared to Petra & Wadi Rum.
We had a fantastic time on our day trip to Amman and the desert castles. Our driver/guide Mahmoud was just great! He arrived on time with a clean car, told us the history of each place we were visiting, was very knowledgeable and gave a lot of information about Jordan and Jordanians. He figured out that we loved history so asked us to spend as much time as we needed at each site without rushing us anywhere. He also gave us suggestions on where to shop and on where to find good Jordanian delicacies. When we asked him about kanafeh, he took us to a famous sweet shop to try it out (he even wanted to pay for it himself) During this trip, we have been to Turkey, Egypt and Jordan and have come across many guides but he was hands down the best we have had so far. Thank you Mahmoud for making our last day in Jordan so memorable!!
Friendly driver answer all of our questions, made us feel comfortable while driving us to the sites. Took so many pictures, enjoyed the experience.
Booked this tour on another app as a solo traveller. My driver for the day was Mahmoud who was very personable with a good sense of humour and gave a lot of details on each of the destinations on the tour. He also gave some great suggestions of popular areas to eat and have some downtime. I'll probably visit Jordan again and would definitely book another tour with this company and request this driver.
