Great trip really enjoyed my son 11 loved it . Village was beautiful wish they took us down to the beautiful lake but they didn’t . Everywhere cards are accepted for payment.
Lynn was a fantastic tour guide. She made the trip fun and informative. Would highly recommend this tour.
Booked all through trip advisor, operator was round town travel. Was all done online and easy to do. Received confirmation and tickets directly to phone. Picked up by air conditioned coach. Had 2 hours in Guadalest and then 2 hours in Algar. I would recommend buying some sea shoes before you go, as the waterfalls are very rocky and stoney underfoot. Our guide Lyn was excellent, very informative, and was on hand to answer any questions . Recommend this trip I think it’s good value for money.
We had Lyne as our guide, she was very friendly and welcoming !! Lynn was Enthusiastic and very knowledgeable with our trip and places we was going. Would definitely book again !!
Great trip, the guide Betty, was lovely and knowledgeable. Helped us get dropped off closer to our hotel afterwards as we were staying quite some way from where we were collected so that was really nice of her. The trip itself is fantastic value, the price of the museums aren’t included. I thought they were after reading past reviews, so that added to the price. The museums/galleries are a great thing to do and the doll house is fantastic. Little quaint museums that help pass some time but you could spend a long time in the dolls house looking at all the intricate details. Don’t get so sucked in you leave yourself little time to go to the castle and see the views. Even the free bit, miss that and you miss a beautiful lake view. Then the water falls which were what we were looking forward to the most, very refreshing however the water wasn’t clear like the photos and incredibly murky meaning it wasn’t easy to get into or enjoy the water as it was so easy to trip and slip on rocks under your feet that you couldn’t see. Not quite the water we envision after seeing the photos but a nice trip nonetheless. Betty, the guide, apologised for this as they said they weren’t aware of the water quality but that’s nature I guess. It’s not something that can be controlled. The only negatives I would say are, you enter the falls up a very steep hill which is quite exerting especially in hot weather, I’m sure you could use the front way if you speak to the guide if you can’t manage it. And we personally didn’t think it was clear communication about how to exit the falls. We tried to exit the way we came in as there were exit signs pointing in that direction and was met with a locked gate. It was very hot and we became a bit flustered and was worried about being left behind as it was made clear the bus only waits 5 minutes. The exit we went to (the way we came in) was quite a walk away from the normal exit and having asthma and hot weather isn’t a mix at the best of times let alone rushing around. You’re given a wrist band on with specific instructions given to call the number if there were any issues, we were so worried about being left behind I was frantically calling the number and we called it 4 times it rung out, got redirected and rung out again to the call drop every single time. This made me worry even more. Why have an emergency line if no one answers? Overall I would recommend highly to anyone who wants a low cost way to spend a day outside of Benidorm. But just be aware use the normal exit down the stairs to the right NOT the way you originally come in.
What a gem in the mountains outside Benidorm. Gorgeous all day trip for very good value Started off with the village visit and entry to 3 museums I was sceptical to be honest but I’m glad I visited Interesting and surprisingly enjoyable Then transferred to the waterfalls Gorgeous I’d definitely visit here again in the future The weather was hot and the water is very cold but refreshing Had some lunch in the village before heading back into town Sad one special memories made with my son and he really enjoyed himself at 24 years old
Our second excursion this holiday with round town travel. Also this excursion again hugely worth Giadalest and the waterfalls are huge the Worth it, the view is very promising. Can really recommend this trip
We took this trip off the cuff as something on the quieter side of life in Benidorm, I'm so glad we did, what a beautiful village Guadalest is with stunning panoramic views and amazing scenery, we enjoyed food in a little side street café and a stroll around the village, then a short bus ride to the Algar falls, wow, although a little crowded, the place is stunning, the water is so blue, started at the top and worked our way down, had a little jump in the plunge pool, pics by the fall, fantastic experience, maybe not suitable for the old folks with mobility issues but for us mid 40's folks, we managed just fine 😅 Will (I am) our guide was a lovely fella and a very helpful chap. All in all, no complaints 👍🏻
Worth it! My advice is to wear water footwear when visiting waterfalls. The museums left unforgettable memories, and the views were breathtaking. 🤩
A fantastic trip with a great team. Very well organised, on time, Lovely places to visit with enough time in each destination. Would definitely recommend
