Les jardins botaniques d'Aburi sont un jardin situé dans la région orientale du Ghana. Le jardin a 64,8 hectares d'espace. Le gouverneur William Brandford-Griffith et le médecin sierra-léonais Dr John Farrell Easmon ont construit les jardins, qui sont constitués de vastes pelouses remplies d'arbres et de flore locaux et étrangers, et ils ont été officiellement inaugurés en mars 1890. We visited many places on the tour, driving out of Accra was a stimulating experience in and of itself! All admission and guide fees were included. Our guide was friendly, and was keen to talk about the different cultural components of Ghana when we asked him. He was very flexible with the plans. Due to traffic, sometimes the commute was longer than expected, which I don’t mind as it was very interesting to chat and experience. However you may not want to make too many plans in the evening, just in case!
I would highly recommend this tour company in general for any tour. This was my first time in Africa and I did not know what to expect but our guide became family. He was knowledgeable, attentive, and gave us space to experience at our own pace. This particular tour was based in nature. We interacted with the locals, visited wonders of nature, and visited the Eastern region of Ghana. We also had amazing food at a local hotel. The distance from Accra was about two hours so this is perfect if you want a closer tour. To Mr. T, Medaase.

It was really great! The tour guide Mr. T was great! He was really helpful to me personally. The tour itself was wonderful I loved the coca farm the best! And the restaurant we stopped at for lunch was the best meal I’ve had since I’ve been in Ghana! I recommend this tour!

This is definitely worth booking. Our tour guide, Kwame and our driver, Elvis were an amazing duo. We were warmly greeted and provided water on pick up. As we were en route, they pointed out significant sights and presented historical references. They even went above and beyond by offering to take group photos. The restaurant that we stopped at for lunch provided delicious meal and beverage choices. I liked that we placed our order at the restaurant early so that our food was served hot and promptly. I would definitely take this tour again.

We had a lovely day with Emmanuel K, he was very helpful and accommodating, and had lots of knowledge that he was keen to share with us all. The other people in our group were lovely too. The day was well planned and waterfalls, cocoa farm and Arburi Gardens were all excellent, our guide on the Arburi Gardens (Richard) was excellent, very knowledgeable and passionate about all the plants and the history of the gardens. Would 100% recommend to anyone wanting to see a bit more of Ghana outside of Accra, beautiful countryside.
