Admirez de magnifiques vues en survolant le glacier Franz Josef et les montagnes environnantes des Alpes du Sud lors de ce vol panoramique. Nous appartenons localement à l’équipe mari-femme Gus et Poppy a lancé notre société sur la côte ouest en 2014. Ils sont tous les deux pilotes professionnels et vous trouverez généralement l'un d'eux dehors volant la plupart des jours. Sur notre vol Glacier Explorer, vous survolerez le glacier Franz Josef et les Alpes du Sud pour profiter de l'atterrissage alpin de 10 minutes inclus pour les photos. Durée totale de l'expérience env. 25 minutes. *Les niveaux de neige sur ce site d'atterrissage alpin (montagne rocheuse) varient selon la saison, veuillez réserver un vol plus long pour un atterrissage de neige toute l'année* Si vous souhaitez réserver un siège confort ou demander un surclassement du siège avant, veuillez nous contacter au moins 24 heures avant votre vol. Veuillez prévoir 45 minutes supplémentaires en plus de votre temps de vol pour permettre l'enregistrement, le transport en hélicoptère, le chargement, le déchargement et le retour à notre bureau.

- Veuillez nous informer si vous avez une mobilité réduite, par ex. blessure, arthrite ou chirurgie récente? Il y a deux marches de style échelle haute dans l'hélicoptère. Cette information pourrait affecter l'hélicoptère dans lequel nous vous emmenons.
- Sièges confort: Nos sièges d'hélicoptère ont 40cm de large, un siège vide peut être réservé à côté de vous si vous préférez un espace supplémentaire (les passagers de 120KG et plus lors de la pesée à l'enregistrement seront nécessaires pour acheter un siège Comfort - ceux-ci représentent la moitié du PRR de votre vol).
- Veuillez noter que les niveaux de neige sur ce vol de 25 minutes sont saisonniers. En été, le site d'atterrissage alpin peut ne pas avoir de neige et être un flanc de montagne rocheux. Veuillez réserver une option de vol plus longue pour la neige garantie.
- Si nous ne pouvons pas atterrir en raison des conditions météorologiques, vous serez remboursé des frais d'atterrissage de 30 $ et de la longueur du vol réduite par l'heure d'atterrissage.

What an amazing experience flying over the glaziers and landing too. The staff were extremely friendly and flexible in finding a weather window. Can't rate this enough!!!

My Franz Josef Glacier helicopter flight with landing was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we lifted off, the views were incredible — soaring over rugged peaks, deep valleys, and the shimmering glacier felt like stepping into another world. The landing itself was a real highlight. Standing on the glacier, surrounded by pure white ice and dramatic mountain scenery, was an experience I’ll never forget. It felt peaceful, surreal, and completely awe‑inspiring. The whole trip was smooth, well organised, and felt really safe. The team were friendly and professional, and the pilot shared great insights about the area, which made the experience even more special. If you’re visiting Franz Josef, this is an absolute must‑do. It was one of the standout moments of my trip.
Absolutely brilliant experience from start to finish. We were due to fly at 9:30 but were asked if we could come earlier as the weather forecast was better for earlier in the day. The safety briefing was appropriate for the activity. Mark, our pilot, was friendly, calm and extremely knowledgeable. The commentary he gave us as we flew around the mountains and glaciers was great. It was a once in a lifetime activity that we will remember for a very long time. Would highly recommend to anyone who is in the area. Thank you, we loved it!
All staff were so helpful and made sure we got our trip done on the day booked when low cloud prevented us going to the original glacier. Pilot was so good and made sure we got an amazing experience

Our helicopter pilot Mike was a very experienced guy. The flight was smooth and we got really close to the glaciers.
Patience is required if the weather does not really want to play along. Unfortunately, as with us, the cloud cover over the glacier can close quickly in minutes. Then it's time to wait, because the helicopters only start with sufficiently clear visibility. Therefore, you should always allow a little more time, because the employees know the weather phenomena over the glacier very well and can assess the situation. With us it took 45min until we could fly again and it was an unforgettable experience.
Great flight, friendly pilot, and staff, first flight for one of us, weather was with us, would recommend to everyone. It was an experience we are glad we took!!!
