Il s'agit d'une excursion d'une journée complète. Au cours de cette journée, vous visiterez l'île-prison où vous pourrez obtenir des informations sur l'île et ce qu'il y a à l'intérieur, vous verrez la prison libérée. Vous visiterez également les tortues géantes et les paons d'Aldabra, vous aurez le temps de prendre de belles photos et vidéos pour mémoire. si c'est un jour de chance, vous pourrez apercevoir une petite antilope très rare. Cependant, à Stone Town, vous serez témoin de différents héritages historiques et attractions laissés par les Arabes, les Hindous, les Britanniques, les Portugais, les Français, etc., comme les musées, les portes de Zanzibar et bien d'autres encore. C'est ici que vous découvrirez l'histoire complète de Zanzibar et du commerce des esclaves en Afrique de l'Est. Cependant, vous aurez la possibilité de faire du shopping. Enfin, vous visiterez la ferme d'épices où vous pourrez déjeuner avant la visite, puis vous verrez les plantes à épices contenant des épices, vous apprendrez également comment les cultiver, les utiliser dans la nourriture et comme plantes médicinales. Vous testerez les fruits aromatiques de Zanzibar et la noix de coco.

Depuis ce site, vous pourrez découvrir l'histoire complète de la prison et les attractions touristiques actuelles, comme les tortues géantes d'Aldabra, les paons et les petites antilopes. Vous aurez le temps de prendre de belles photos et vidéos pour vous souvenir, puis de retourner à Stone Town pour une visite à pied de la ville historique.
Il s'agit d'une visite à pied qui vous emmène à travers la légendaire Stone Town, où l'histoire semble s'être arrêtée. Avec des visites de la Maison des Merveilles, l'ancien marché aux esclaves pour le commerce des esclaves en Afrique de l'Est et du Fort arabe, entre autres, c'est un regard fascinant sur l'essence de Zanzibar. Le style architectural des bâtiments de la ville en pierre est un mélange unique d'influences diverses. et culturelle. Vous verrez le marché animé de Zanzibar, ses ruelles sinueuses, ses portes richement sculptées et cloutées, deux cathédrales et d'innombrables mosquées ! Stone Town possède d'excellentes boutiques de cadeaux proposant de nombreux souvenirs et objets artisanaux. Une promenade guidée à travers cette ville colorée et alternative avec des guides touristiques expérimentés, qui connaissent non seulement les drôles de Stone Town, mais aussi les histoires cruelles à raconter sur la vie d'autrefois à Stone Town. La visite de Stone Town est une visite à pied et dure près de 2 heures de marche dans les rues étroites.
Cette visite guidée à pied traverse des villages et des plantations d'épices, une promenade à travers les fermes pendant que les ouvriers des fermes d'épices grimpent aux arbres, recherchent des plantes spécifiques et coupent diverses écorces, vous permettant de tout voir, de tout sentir et de tout goûter. Mohammed was a fantastic guide throughout the day. He was friendly, welcoming and engaging, making sure we had a teaching and memorable experience. Everything was well organized, from picking up at the hotel to transportation between the sites and the exciting guided tours. Prison Island was fascinating with its history and impressive giant turtles, while Stone Town offered a deeper understanding of Zanzibar’s culture and architecture. The visit to Jambo Spice Farm was a real experience! The food was delicious, and the guide there made the trip both fun and educational. It was exciting to see, smell and taste various spices right from the plants, as well as the local fruits. The only tip is to pay attention to the weather – rain can make the spice farm a little muddy, so wear good shoes and clothes you’re not afraid of. So glad that I booked this tour! I had attempted to walk around Stone Town the day prior, but only managed to get lost in the winding alleys. With this tour you get to see the highlights of the wider Stone Town area. Mohammed is very friendly, knowledgeable, and certainly knows his way around Zanzibar, Stone Town, etc. He also timed our tour to miss the big crowds, which was fantastic. The best experience in Zanzibar. Mohammed was an extremely knowledgable, dignified and helpful guide - and the places we visited were fascinating. Mo was extremely knowledgeable about all things Stonetown when taking us around and happy to answer any questions when we asked. The transport was comfortable and cool which was lovely going in and out of from the heat of the Zanzibar sun! Our favourite part of the tour was the Jambo Spice Farm with such lovely, warm people taking us around ready to try all the fruits they produce, too. 100% recommend anyone to do this trip!

My guide was very kind and knowledgeable. We went to stone town walking tour then Changu island then spice farm. The food and fruit was delicious at the spice farm. I would recommend booking with this guide. Please note some services along the way may require tip so bring smaller currency notes.

The spice farm experience and Prison Island were unique. There wasn't much that stood out in Stone City and our tour guide was more interested in Stone City than the other two places that we visited, I would say that he was more interested in explaining things that I have to do with his religion than other things. Made me buy clothes to cover myself because according to him my dress was too short and we could only buy in shops that he wanted.

I think there may have happened misunderstanding when the tour guide told you to buy a dress to cover, according to the culture of this country, The government insist the tour operators that all travelers should obey and practice some small things while visiting public places like villages, towns, cities, schools and markes. It is forbidden to a tour guide to walk with travelers with too short outfits, skintight as well as transparent clothes, this is the order from the Government and not the tour guide, if the travelers walk in those kind of clothes, the tour guide and the tour company he is working for are given penalty of paying certain amount, stop working for a period or both of them, this may even result for a company to be stoped from doing tour business. For these reasons, I would like to advocate the tour guide that he was not doing any religious thing but he was doing his job as it's supposed by the rules and regulations of doing this job from the local government. Lastly, we are very apologetic for this. Thanks again for sharing your experience.
We had wonderful private tour with Mohamed. He picked us up at the Hotel and took us to Prison Island and walking tour of Stone Town. He was knowledgeable about Zanzibar, its history and people. We had a terrrific tour of the Spice Farm led by Bill. We had lunch at the farm before the tour then Bill gave us a detailed and informative walk through the spice fields.
