Faites une excursion d'une journée dans la nature et venez randonner dans la dernière forêt nuageuse de la côte équatorienne. Lors de cette visite privée de 9 à 10 heures dans les montagnes de Bucay, nous vous ferons découvrir plusieurs types d'arbres, de plantes et, avec de la chance, vous pourrez voir certains des oiseaux les plus représentatifs de cette zone naturelle. Vous connaîtrez 3 cascades, comme la "Iabela" de 295 pieds, la plus haute de Bucay. et prenez une douche rafraîchissante sous chaque cascade que vous visiterez. La visite commence à Guayaquil, à 8h du matin depuis votre emplacement, et nous vous transférons à la ville de Bucay à 2H environ.
Lorsque vous arrivez à Bucay, vous pouvez voir le paysage naturel, c'est un endroit verdoyant et des montagnes autour. nous commençons à monter sur la voiture jusqu'au sommet de la montagne à 4 200 pieds. Sur la route, vous pouvez voir les rivières, les plantes et vous connaissez une ferme locale, ici vous profitez de la trapiche traditionnelle (presse à canne à sucre)
Si vous êtes un amoureux de la nature, nous sommes sûrs que cette excursion d'une journée dans la forêt nuageuse et les cascades vous plaira. Lorsque nous arrivons à la forêt, nous commençons la randonnée à travers des sentiers naturels, vous pourrez observer de nombreuses plantes typiques d'une forêt de nuages, différents types d'arbres et de nombreuses espèces d'oiseaux, vous connaîtrez également 3 cascades "Las Mellizas" de 45m (135 pieds) ici vous aurez un moment pour prendre une douche sous l'eau. Poursuite de la randonnée vers les deuxième et troisième cascades, appelées "Chorrera del Amor" de 30 m de haut et "Isabela" de 295 pieds (la plus haute cascade de Bucay). Vous aurez le temps d'entrer dans la plus grande cascade de Bucay, et de prendre de nombreuses photos du souvenir de votre voyage. En quittant la forêt en transport, nous arrivons au restaurant traditionnel et nous vous servirons un déjeuner local avant de commencer le retour à Guayaquil, où nous arriverons vers 18 heures et nous vous laisserons à votre hôtel.

My friend and I are both retired. We really enjoyed the pace of our trip. The hike was beautiful and reasonable. We saw many beautiful flowers and water falls. We felt safe with our drivers and well cared for. We ground sugar cane, ate a good lunch, saw many nice views, took a hundred photos and returned back to our hotel.
Actually, I didn't go on this trip - but exchanged the experience for a half-day Guayaquil city tour instead (the flexibility on the part of the tour company was good, although contact was rather late). My guide was Simon (Monoloco) and even though it was a Monday and many of the more usual city sites were closed, I got a very good sense of the city and some of its key sites. Simon took me to several high points in the city for panoramic views - one that we drove to and one that we climbed 444 steps to (plus the lighthouse). We also visited the iguana park, the riverfront promenade and a coffee museum. He located a simple but nyummy vegetarian restaurant to cater to my dietary preferences. He has an extensive knowledge of the area - historical, socioeconomic and natural. Ask for Simon - he immediately makes you feel at home and at ease.

Noe is beyond awesome. He speaks Spanish and English. We had so much fun and learned a great deal. I would recommend the Bucay waterfall trip to anyone that wants a little adventure. We went on a weekday so there was no one except us there which was quite nice. Excellent and quick communication with pick-up as well

I love insects. We chose this tour because we hoped to get to a rainforest in Ecuador and be able to hunt for bugs at our own pace without slowing others down. Our day was absolutely wonderful. We saw so much of the city and countryside, (along with interesting insight into the everyday lives of people living here) on the way to our cloud forest. Once we arrived we did a beautiful hike to many spectacular waterfalls AND our guide, Noe, was so good at letting us look for bugs on the way. He was also really good at finding them for us. It was a perfect day.

Very disappointed to say the least! Arrived quite late last night after a long flight, then woke up early and waited for a no show tour! And called numerous times while waiting, and nobody answered the phone from the local vendor- Bucay Tour Adventure.

We had a fantastic cloud tour. Our guide Wilson was fantastic. Personable, Very knowlegable. The cloud forest was beautiful. We also got to stop and sample different types of bananas and fermented fruit drinks. Lunch was at a fantastic open air side of the road cafe, the food was amazing. Got to sample local ice cream. Very cool experience.

The falls, the hiking, the fruit tasting on the way to the rain forest, the lunch, the company of the other two Americans, but above the incredible guide, Wilson. He was very knowledgeable, patient, and helpful in climbing all those wet huge rocks.
