Le marché flottant de Damnoen Saduak est l'un des plus charmants et pittoresques de Thaïlande. Les visiteurs du monde entier viennent découvrir l'atmosphère intemporelle de ces cours d'eau, où la vie coule à peu près de la même façon depuis plus d'un siècle. Pendant votre visite, vous profiterez d'une visite à pied détendue, d'un délicieux déjeuner et de la possibilité de déguster une variété de délicieux fruits thaïlandais et des spécialités locales. Offrez-vous de la mangue sucrée avec du riz collant, de la crème glacée à la noix de coco fraîchement préparée et des nouilles de bateau traditionnelles de style thaïlandais, le tout servi dans un cadre animé et coloré.
Vous apprécierez une douce introduction à l'artisanat traditionnel de la noix de coco, en commençant par une démonstration de la façon dont les fleurs de coco sont soigneusement coupées et leur nectar sucré recueilli dans des récipients en bambou. Vous verrez comment le bois naturel de conservation est ajouté, et comment le nectar est lentement bouilli et pasteurisé en boisson rafraîchissante. Vous aurez également la chance d’essayer de presser le lait de coco frais de la coquille en utilisant une presse en bois traditionnelle thaïlandaise « dents de lapin », une technique simple mais fascinante transmise de génération en génération.
Le marché ferroviaire est connu de façon ludique comme le marché du « risque vital », et c’est vraiment une expérience pas comme les autres. À la gare de Mae Klong, vous assisterez de près à l'une des scènes les plus fascinantes de Thaïlande. À l'approche du train et au son du signal, le marché entre en action. En quelques instants, les vendeurs retirent rapidement leurs auvents et éloignent leurs marchandises des rails, créant ainsi un chemin libre. Une fois le train passé, tout revient à la normale tout aussi rapidement, avec la réouverture des étals et la poursuite du marché animé comme si de rien n'était.
À la fin de votre voyage, vous retournerez au port de Laem Chabang (ou autre). Le trajet en voiture offre une chance de se détendre et de réfléchir aux moments forts de la journée avant de rejoindre votre navire au principal terminal de croisière de Thaïlande. Votre ramassage se fera depuis le port de Klong Toei, le port de Laem Chabang ou le port de Sri Racha. Poppy our guide was outstanding. Worth the drive from Bangkok. Her and a private driver pick you up in comfortable SUV with cold towels and ice waters. Poppy guided us through the markets to show us where the best prices were, she initiated photo opportunities we wouldn’t have been able to get just the two of us. She helped us push through the crowds and made sure we got the best seat on the train. She even bought us some coconut ice cream as a gift in the floating market. 10/10 would recommend.

Wow! An amazing day. The rail market was very unusual and something all tourist should see. Our guide, Ice, positioned us for best seats in train and best views in market. Our second stop was the coconut farm. This experience was so far beyond my expectation. It provided a view into Thai life outside the city. The coconut trees were beautiful. The floating market was our last stop and something any visitor to Thailand should do. We had a ride on a boat through a canal to the market. We then got back on land and toured the market. Ice was so attentive and a great guide. The private car was necessary for this trip. The driver was very good. The coordination between guide and driver kept us safe and moving easily through the experience. We highly recommend this team and this experience.
