Rejoignez-nous pour une visite à pied de 2 heures alors que nous explorons les rues de l'ancien quartier du crime de Fitzroy et apprenons à connaître les personnages colorés qui vivaient dans l'ancien quartier du crime de Melbourne il y a 100 ans. Le Fitzroy True Crime Walking Tour est construit et présenté par l'écrivain et historien Michael Shelford et utilise les fichiers de police originaux de la période 1890-1920. Les anciens bordels, les discours faciles, les meurtres de gangs et les fusillades avec les flics ne sont que quelques-uns des sujets abordés lors de la tournée. Chaque membre de la tournée reçoit un livret gratuit contenant des photos des personnages discutés en cours de route. Fitzroy est situé à la périphérie du CBD de Melbourne et est facilement accessible par les tramways réguliers vers et depuis la ville.

Excellent tour, we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Michael was extremely knowledgeable and had certainly done his research. The way he conducted the tour intertwining and connecting stories and characters from the past was really interesting. I would definitely recommend this tour and next time would find an opportunity to attend Michael’s other true crime tours.
Highly recommend this tour, Michael was so knowledgeable and a great speaker and story teller. You can tell he is so passionate and knowledgeable about this era. Easy walk, and great to do a tour like this in your own city!
Michael is a great speaker, very infornative and intetesting content. The walk says 2 hrs but we stopped quite a bit, so not too arduous! We recommend the tour highly, we loved it, thanks Michael.
Excellent experience for older children who are in crime and history great narratior and excellent run down on gangster life in Melbourne back in the day .
Great tour. Michael is very knowledgeable and brings to life the characters in his story telling. You'll never look at the seemingly innocuous buildings the same way again. The small group makes it easy to hear and makes it feel like you're just having a chat.

This was my second tour with Melbourne Historical Crime Tours and it was as enjoyable as the first. Michael has an encyclopedic knowledge of the subject and is an engaging story teller. The booklet he hands out with pictures of the people and sometimes places as they looked at the time is a clever and valuable accompaniment to the narrative and locations. I recommend any of these tours to people interested in what inner Melbourne was like 100 years ago.
