We had a private experience which was nice. Emily was a great guide and Alex was fun. Overall it was a wonderful tour.
Emily is very knowledgeable and explained the entire tequila making and distillation process. She has a passion for the art of tequila making and she made the whole experience exciting and fun.
Educational and fun experience. It is a beautiful location far from the tourist areas and feels relaxing and spiritual. The guides were knowledgeable and friendly and spent time getting to know us and what we wanted to learn and see. An excellent way for both newcomers and veterans to learn anbout and see and taste agave spirits. I will absolutely do this again next time I am in town.
It was one of the most delightful experiences we’ve ever had as a family! Alex, our tasting guide, was fantastic at explaining each pour and sharing the fascinating history of the family and their tequilas. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and the dog guides were a lot of fun, acting as our personal tour guides. If you’re a fan of quality distilleries, I highly recommend the tasting and buying some of the different tequilas, mezcal, and raicilla.
We had the best time on our tour at Finca 18. We’ve been coming to Puerto Vallarta for almost two decades and had never done a tequila tour before. The grounds are very beautiful. Our guide and tour guide dogs were fantastic and very informative. We learned so much about mezcals and tequilas. We got to talk with the owner, who is very clearly passionate about agave spirits. The tasting was a fun experience, and the chocolate pairing was delicious. The quality of the tequilas was impressive. We had a large group of 8 and booked the private transport- it was the most comfortable ride we’ve ever had in Mexico. We plan to come back the next time we come to Puerto Vallarta, and, in the meantime, will enjoy our bottles that we took home. This would be a great experience for families (as long as you’re of drinking age), friends, couples.
This was one of the best experiences I've had in Mexico! The property was beautiful, the people were so friendly and knowledgeable, and the tastings were phenomenal. The luxury tour was definitely worth the price. I could've spent much longer there than the couple of hours that the tour ran.
My second time and it was even better than the first. Emily is exceptional at what she does. I say this as someone who also works at a distillery and has done the tour/explanation concept. I also appreciated the small cake on hand for me as it was my birthday. I signed up for the membership and it’s great to know that you ship within Mexico so I will be in Loreto next year to receive my bottles 😆
Amazing experience Alex and Emily were fantastic hosts! The farm is beautiful and the dogs are so sweet, made me miss my dogs even more back home! Now the chocolate and drink pairings were out of this world! It is out of the tourist area which is why we chose this tour and we were not disappointed. We have been to multiple tequila tastings and this is by far one of my favorites! If you are thinking about trying this just stop and DO IT 🩷
Emily and Alex made our experience not only educational but so much fun. We had no idea how good agave spirits could be! Lola (one of the beloved dogs on property) also guided us the entire time. Shout out to all of them! Thanks for a great day and if you are reading this TAKE THE TOUR! They will even coordinate transportation for you! We had 10 people and the van was on time and ready for all of us.
Alex and Emily were absolutely amazing! We have been on different tasting tours and we learned new things during this tour 🩷 the tasting and chocolate was delicious! The farm is absolutely beautiful. This tour is a little out of the way which is why we wanted to do it to have more of an authentic local experience! If you are on the fence of doing this, do it!!!!
