This was an excellent tour. We learned avlot about their farm and food was amazing!!
This excursion was wonderful! The hosts were kind, and the food was delicious. We loved hearing the details about the family’s lemon farm and the products they produce.
It was a wonderful experience! The passion for the Masseria family farm by Fernando’s sons Eugene and Rafaela was obvious. Their love of the farm and what is produces was so refreshing! The family style meal complete with wine not only delicious but was lively and enchanting! The family made a customers birthday a real celebration!
Absolutely the highlight of our trip to Italy. The description of this event falls fall short of everything you get to experience. It was just awesome from start to finish. The family is so gracious. We learned so much - even the kids were all intrigued the whole time. There was so much food and it was fresh and incredibly delicious. This is a 10/10!
It was an informative tour with a lovely location. The tastings were good and generous. There were also goats, pigs & chickens. The only issues I did have were that we chose not to have dinner and had to wait for all the other guests to eat before we were allowed to leave on the bus which was another hour, felt this was unfair. We were also offered some dessert which they said was free and at no extra cost only to find they charged us for this when we paid the bill. The tour guide was enthusiastic but repeated himself a lot. When it got to towards the end of the visit it felt like a profit making exercise and sort of ruined the experience. Lovely location all the same. When our transfer came it ended up driving past our hotel so we had a longer walk back.
Our entire family of 11, ages 2 to 65, thoroughly enjoyed this experience. A great off-the-water learning experience of the farm, animals, and real Italian FOOD. Covered the bases for all ages. Memorable !
Highly recommend! My wife and I had an incredible experience visiting this family farm. They walk you through the farm and explain how all crops are grown, maintained, and harvested. The lunch was delicious. The lunch included several starter courses, pasta for the main entree, wine and limoncello tasting, and a lovely lemon dessert. They also prepared samples of lemonade, three different olive oils paired with bread, and marmalade/honey samples. All of the food was prepared with ingredients grown on their farm. There is much more to see than just lemon and olive trees. The family was nice and appreciative of all tour guests. This is a must do tour if you are staying in the Sorrento area!
It’s the most authentic and memorable time! Our teen boys enjoyed food they don’t usually want to try. Raphael and his parents are wonderful hosts. What a wonderful learning experience for our whole family! It has been the hi light of our trip. The meal was absolutely delicious and I couldn’t stop thinking about my Italian Nana who would’ve adored this place.
It's a family farm/business. They take pride in their farm and it shows. I felt like family. We toured the farm and how nothing goes to waste. It truly is a farm to table experience. We ate in their home and the food and drink was amazing. Raffaele was our host - I knew he took pride in his family farm by his actions and smile. The pride carried through his parents. It's a must do if you are staying in Sorrento. Fabulous!
This was our FAVORITE thing from our visit in Sorrento! A MUST DO! The family who owns the farm were so friendly and welcoming! They made us feel like part of their family. The farm tour was so informative and FUN! My 16y/o LOVED IT TOO! This was a true farm experience with the animals, tasting the crops, seeing every aspect of the multi generational farm. We were amazed at how efficient things were ran… no waste! The dinner afterwards was AMAZING, we even bought a bottle of their wine to take home. If you want to experience a true Italian farm and beautiful family this is it! This was an experience that we will always remember and have talked about so much! So thankful to this sweet family for allowing us to experience such a AUTHENTIC moment! 🍋🍋
