Fast Track Swimming Pigs Encounter

Prior to the excursion, we received reminders and info like where to meet. We could access our booking info without internet via the Viator app, which was great. The only time we were confused was when we arrived at the meeting point. It said to meet at a kiosk outside of Señor Frogs but we had some trouble finding the kiosk and a passerby assisted us. The boat ride to the island was longer than we expected (approx. 45 min to 1 hour one way) but the tour guides were great. The boat is open to the elements with minor shade if you sit in a certain area - put on your sunscreen before you board. There is no bathroom aboard the boat, but there are bathrooms on the island. When we arrived, there was lunch available for purchase. I had rice and peas, chicken wings, fried fish, and mac & cheese - all delicious but admittedly expensive. We played in the water before it was our turn to swim with the pigs. They had water trampolines out and the beach was beautiful. No jellyfish. For swimming with the pigs, they gave a brief safety announcement and then provided cut up apples and chicken sausage with skewers so the pigs would come to you in the water. The pigs were very well mannered (our family kept saying they behaved better than our family dogs...yikes) but FYI a pig did accidentally kick me while swimming and I have a bruise from it. Something to keep in mind if you have kids in the water. Our 5 year old was held above the water and had a great time. At the end, they let us hold a baby pig for free photos. It was a pleasant surprise (the day prior, we had gone on an excursion purchased through the cruise line where they extorted people into buying mediocre photos). On the way back, the boat stopped momentarily so we could see sea turtles in the ocean. We were on the excursion for about 3.5-4 hours total and back with plenty of time to spare before we had to be back on our cruise ship. I would do this again!

Booked this trip because our child really wanted to do this. I was not sure if it would really be worth it or not. TOTALLY WORTH IT AND WOULD DO THIS AGAIN! We all LOVED this excursion.

Amazing Experience. So much fun! The pigs were friendly. The beach and sand are kept clean. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Had a great time! This experience was above what I expected. I do wish time with the pigs was a little bit longer.

THERE IS NO FAST TRACK! We planned the fast track excursion to have some time to shop when we got back. The people running the tour had never heard of fast track. We made it back with just enough time to get back to the ship. Feeding the pigs was amazing but the rest of the time was a waste.

Booked this excursion because I didn’t want to book a long, tiring tour. This was perfect! Never felt rushed or short. Went with my husband and 2 teens and everyone loved it. I appreciated the detailed directions texted to me on the morning of the excursion. The guides on the boat were friendly and informative. The guides on the island were also great. The pigs are adorable and we even got to take a pick with an adorable baby pig -Tony. I highly recommend.

Amazing experience! Our family chose the 11:30 AM departure, and it was perfect. We had plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful beach, swim with the pigs, and still make it back to the cruise port with plenty of time before embarkation. Highly recommend!

It was such a fun experience swimming with the pigs! It was safe and organized and the staff were all so helpful and friendly. The staff took pictures using your phone so you could enjoy the activity which was awesome! The boat ride was really cool too and you got to see celebrity row with all their houses and another island which was turtle sanctuary. Definitely would do again and worth the money!!

It was amazing !! I had so much fun with the piggies and the people were so nice ! Definitely will do this again.

I had a wonderful time in the Bahamas for my first solo trip, but a big highlight of my 4 days there was definitely Pig Island. I ended up having one of my roommates at my hostel come with me, and all I can say is it was an amazing experience. A bar is present on the island, so I got a DELICIOUS strawberry daiquiri; the pigs were very cute and friendly. There is an outlook to view the whole island/ocean and large floats in the water for jumping and/or tanning. My only complaints are that I wish I could have stayed longer and that there are mixed opinions on the treatment of the pigs. They are not free roam/wild like I originally thought.
