A wonderful experience and highly recommended! The tours offered by The Village Italy are truly stunning: unique activities, meticulously curated details, and designed to reveal an authentic Emilia-Romagna, far from the usual tourist paths. The places visited are fantastic, full of history, atmosphere, and beauty, and you can feel all the passion with which Filippo and Giada create these experiences. I strongly recommend it to anyone who wants to experience something real, special, and different from the classic tourist tour. And then Filippo and Giada as guides are simply legendary: knowledgeable, engaging, friendly, and capable of making you feel immediately immersed in the story of the places.
Many thanks for your review! Our aim is to make all the clients satisfied and we are happy we succeed with your tour. Many thanks for your compliments, we are moved :) We hope to meet you again in our charming Romagna! Filippo and Giada
Elise is a fantastic tour guide! Honestly, I did this tour because I wanted to spend a day in the countryside with some cute animals. Did not disappoint. I took selfies with goats, sheep, a horse, and a cow. Elise knows about the berries that grow wild in the area, and she treated me to some tasty cherries right off the tree. I also enjoyed the tour of the castle at Dozza. Elise knows so much about the history of the place, and answered my questions about the prison and the torture devices--personal interest of mine and so I was thrilled. She is also a delightful human and we had fun conversations together. Couldn't recommend her more highly! Definitely take this tour with Elise. And say "hi" to Vito the goat.
Many thanks for your great review! It's a joy to hear how much you love the Farm expercience and meeting all the farm's animals. Vito the goat and all others friends said SEE YOU SOOOON! :)
Ilaria was a delightful guide. She was knowledgeable and the day went at a relaxed pace. She was flexible when there were things we were more (or less) interested in. We visited a winery and had a lovely tasting and lunch , then to Dozza. A very nice day trip from Bologna .
Many thanks for your great review! Beeing flexible is part of our work and we are able to do it because all our tours are PRIVATE!! Only you and your tour leader and, now, new friend! :) We hope to meet you again soon :)
What an amazing day touring lesser populated parts of Italy! Our last day before leaving for Greece could not have been more perfect! Ilaria and Gabriele picked us up in the morning for our adventure. Both are locals of the area putting this tour together to give people a truly unique experience. First stop was to Dozza which is a magical town steeped in history. Ilaria will educate you with its rich history and stories from the past. She also explained the art on the buildings and the festival every two years! We even uncovered some new dragon easter egg artwork with its own new story. Dozza is breath taking with sweeping views and an amazing wine cellar. This tiny town will leave you wondering what the day to day was like for the people and Ilaria brings this all to life! Next stop was the working farm and lunch at the top of a hill outside of Imola in the Emilia-Romagna region. My family loved every minute of this visit. We met all the animals, learned the family history of the farm and ended with the most amazing food! The best part of all of this was the people. Spending time learning and connecting with Ilaria, Gabriele and Alex at the farm was wonderful! If you are looking for something slightly off the beaten path and to immerse yourself in a different way with a different culture, this tour is for you. I would recommend this day to any history, cultural, nature, animal or food lover! If you are like us and love them all then book this without hesitation. It was our favorite day of our entire trip to Italy! Thank you Ilaria and crew for helping us build lifetime memories ❤️
Thanks Barbara for your kind review! WIsh you all the best for your future travels and hope to meet your family again one day... Much love, Ilaria.
