We chose the excursion because we did not have our own vehicle and applications cannot be used. The guide, a friendly person with knowledge, was very elderly, in an old and dirty car, driving at high speed. They should take these details into account when choosing suppliers. The visit to the house, which we had to arrange on our own, was very interesting. Additionally, the place and the surroundings are beautiful. I do not recommend booking the trip.
My guide was sensational, full on and very knowledgeable. He mixed a number an events and people to create a dialogue which covers the subject matter you are wishing to know about. Additionally, the historical backdrop of USA in the region supplied a further contextual scope.
Need to book your own tour Before booking Viator's trip. Not knowing that made the whole process difficult
Something I have always wanted to do and didn’t disappoint…. Except for maybe the scaffolding but you can forgive that. An amazing building and the in-depth tour is really worth it. George who drove us there was a real character with a wealth of knowledge and laughs to go with it.
Amazing & unique house built over a waterfall. The tour guide did a great job providing information. The operation was well organized including the visitor center, parking, and gift shop. The location is 90-minutes outside of Pittsburgh, so a bit of a drive to get there. The gift shop had some neat items, but is fairly expensive.
Leave the driving to George Debolt who can keep you entertained with the history of Pittsburgh and why it is so cool all the way to Fallingwater and back to your hotel in Pittsburgh. You will need to arrange seperate admission to Fallingwater which is so worth the visit. It was a memorable trip.
Always a fascinating place to visit and see. A very unique building that any body that likes architecture should see. Nor cheap though and book ahead.
The house was amazing, Tour guide was very knowledgeable. Highly recommend this tour if you are a fan of FL Wright. Definitely wear walking shoes as lots of gravel paths to the house and lots of stairs up and down. Wouldn't do tour if in wheelchair or not an avid walker.
Wonderful place, great guided tour, book in advance as they fill up and have limited guided tours. We had a morning tour. Fallingwater was a bucket list item for me and it did not disappoint. Loved it so much and would love to return in the Autumn, the landscape must be stunning just like this home. Staff at the check in was great, nice open air check in/gift shop/snack shop/exhibit. Tip: be sure and use restroom before the tour.
A city that is partly preserved as old in the center and that takes care of its architecture, there was not much movement, the day was very cold
