All in all it is a very cool experience! There is some history at the beginning, but it is mostly sharpening the blade and engraving your favorite word in Japanese on the handle. Very worth while when in Japan!
Very fun activity perfect for couples
Spent the morning crafting two knives with son. Great time and friendly guides.
I really enjoyed this afternoon. I also learned a real world skill that I will use all the time - and I got a knife to keep the end. All in all, good value.
