very good experience tried feni at martins bar
The tour was great. Joe was a great tour guide and very knowledgeable of all the itinerary stops and the history behind them. Also he customized it to our liking and we had a wonderful time. The driver with him was also very helpful.
I took this tour with my husband, mother-in-law and 7 year old daughter. So quite an age range the cater for! Joachim was our tour guide and he adapted to all our needs. It was a fantastic way to get a feel for Goa - from the port to hearing the stories of how life was/is in to the temple to the churches. We were extremely fortunate to attend a temple as prayers were taking place and receive blessings from the Swami. As we went to see the Cardinal’s residency, the Archbishop was there and was gracious to allow us the opportunity of a greeting with him. Then throughout the tour Jo’s knowledge and passion meant we learnt so much in a short space of time. Can’t thank him and our driver Vinod enough. My mother-in-law said the tour was an 11 out of 10! High praise indeed!
Nice tour guide and driver. The stops were pleasant. This is a great half day (four hour) tour. Nice experience for a solo traveler.
Tour guide, Joa was great. Very friendly, informative and accommodating. Tour operator, Yo Tours, were not great as the additional charge due to pick up location was told after booking despite putting the details during the booking. The driver provided by the tour operator was terrible as he tried taking the payment for the day as a tip and then told both operator and tour guide that we didn't pay him, which lead to all 3 calling me, for this reason I have a negative overall opinion.
We spent the best of days, thanks to our guide Joaquim and his driver. Along the way we discovered that we had already seen the upcoming sights with a previous tour and spontaneously Joaquim suggested an alternative route which proved to be spectacular and interesting. Highly recommended. Truly a taylor-made tour. Thank you!
The tour guide and car did not show up on Apr25 and there was no communication from the tour operator Yo Tours on the day. This is despite I calling them and confirming the booking on Apr22. When the operator was contacted on Apr25 morning, they promised to come back and nothing happened afterwards
The tour guide, Jovan is very friendly and thoughtful. He flexibly rearranged the itinerary to avoid long queue for the exposition of St. Francis Xavier relic in old Goa. He was always taking care of our safety when walking outside. Also, he made us happy with jokes taking a lot of photos. The car was very clean and air conditioned comfortably. The driver drove gently all the way. We were very satisfied with the tour. Thank you!
I didn't like it because the guide didn't know the entire program of the visit: I didn't know all the places we should visit like the Maruti Temple, the Basilica of Bom Jesus, the Church of St. Francis of Assisi and St. Cajetan Church (4 of 9 locations) and also did not know that should offer water and snacks during the visit. It took me to constantly ask and the guide to contact the company by phone so that we could have the complete visit. It was all so poorly organized that after my insistence we went to the Maruti Temple but we arrived at 15:00 when the temple only opened at 16:00. A deception.
The guide Joachim and the driver Mohammed both were great. Jo was excellent with his history and knowledge. What ever we saw was all so good cant chose anything.
