The experience with Sergio was unbeatable. We had come from doing a tour with Viajes Colibrí (a disastrous experience, lack of professionalism and personality, super simple explanations, and a very distant atmosphere, with little room for questions), and we met Sergio. Thanks to him, we have a beautiful memory of cenotes, super local food in a very well-chosen little town to experience 'deep Mexico', and of Uxmal. It is a tour of a maximum of 5 people, which makes it super intimate, private, and personalized. Sergio knows a lot about Mayan history, the Yucatán, and Mexico, and he explains it with great passion and vocation. In addition, the cenotes are local, not touristy at all, and he cares about every detail. He took photos and videos for us and gave us goggles to see the marine life and the caves. You can tell he likes what he does, he lives it, and he manages to convey it in a way that makes time fly. Do not hesitate and book this tour, Sergio will create unforgettable memories for you. It was amazing! We were 11 people and the tour was held in English and Spanish. The drive was comfortable and the AC exactly the right temperature. Our first stop was the archeological zone Uxmal where you have two hours. You buy two tickets, foreigners pay 105$ Mex in cash for the first and around 600$ Mex for the second, for that one card payment is possible. There’s a few shops at the entrance where you can buy souvenirs and emergency products like mosquito spray and sunscreen. The coconut pineapple drink was really good. Our delightful guide Sergio handed us over to Jesus who gave as an interesting and informative tour, props for switching back and forth in the two languages. The site was really peaceful and quiet. 15min drive to the little restaurant "El regalo de dios" where we ate Salbutes and Panuchos and had an agua fresca. 35min drive to the first cenote X'batun, just stunning. The second one was only a 5 min drive and we didnt have to change. Interesting to see a different form but the first one is definitely the star of the show. We got back to Merida at around 4pm. Overall a wonderful experience!

We did the Uxmal & 2 Cenotes tour on a Sunday, and as we were the only guests who had booked that day, it turned into a truly private tour. Sergio picked us up directly from our hotel, and on the drive to Uxmal he told us so much about Yucatán, the region and local life. It was fascinating and gave us a much better understanding of the area. At Uxmal, Sergio gave us all the practical information we needed and then let us explore the site at our own pace, which we really appreciated. Uxmal itself is an absolute must-see and was one of the highlights of our trip. Afterwards, Sergio took us to Dona Panchita, a small family-run restaurant, where we had the best Mexican food of our entire trip to Mexico. This alone was a fantastic discovery. The final part of the tour took us to two hidden cenotes that we would never have found on our own. As it was Sunday afternoon, there were quite a few local families there, but that actually became part of the experience: we got to see how cenotes are enjoyed by local people as part of their everyday life. We highly recommend Sergio and this tour. He seems to know everyone and everything in the area, and travelling with someone who has this kind of local knowledge adds so much more to the experience. We came away feeling that we had discovered much more than just Uxmal and two cenotes.

Uxmal was a lovely site, and very quiet when we went, but it would have been better if the guide could have come in with us to explain what we were seeing. The lunch was very nice, the restaurant looked very local. The cenotes were great, close to each other but you drive between the two of them. You can get changed there. The guide helpfully took lots of photos of us in the water. Our guide was very friendly and enthusiastic and we liked him a lot.

We had an unforgettable day touring with Sergio. From the moment he picked us up until the end of the day, he was friendly, professional, and genuinely passionate about sharing the beauty of the Yucatán. Sergio's knowledge of the region's flora, fauna, Mayan culture, and local cuisine made every stop even more meaningful. He was incredibly accommodating, always making sure we were comfortable, volunteering to take photos of us, and even sharing a fantastic list of his favorite local restaurants. For lunch, he took us to a unique and delicious restaurant between our visits to Uxmal and the cenotes. If you go, order the poc chuc salbutes, it was absolutely delicious! He dropped us off at Uxmal to explore at our own pace, then picked us up afterward and accompanied us to each cenote, sharing fascinating stories and insights about the area while we swam and explored. It was obvious that Sergio truly loves the Yucatán and its people, and his enthusiasm made the entire experience even more special. Another example of Sergio's exceptional service came after the tour. I accidentally left my favorite sunglasses in his car. The very next day, he happened to see my husband walking down the street and went out of his way to return them. That level of kindness and honesty is rare and speaks volumes about the kind of person he is. I highly recommend the ‘Explora Uxmal, 2 Cenotes Mágicos y Gastronomía Maya‘ tour with Sergio. It was one of the highlights of our trip, and I will absolutely book another tour with him the next time we're in the Yucatán.

Amazing experience Sergio communicated with us a day prior to plan the meeting, he was very kind and fun, took us safely to every spot and told us a lot of the history around. My favorite part was the food since we ate at a small family business where the local food is super authentic. 👌 my mom and I had so much fun swimming at the cenotes, Sergios gave us plenty of time to swim. If you're looking for a small group no rush and fun activities this is the tour for you. We enjoyed it A LOT!.

Sergio turned a good day into a great day! He was very knowledgeable and did a great job communicating with both English and Spanish speakers in our group. I appreciated his safe driving and calm bossa nova playlist.

It was everything they said in the advertising. Our guide Eric was truly amazing and gave us such wonderful notes on the history. We had to change plans with our second cenote being previously booked and we had the joy of visiting quite a secluded and awesome cenote. The meal at lunch was so delicious. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone. My husband and I had some physical limitations and Eric was so very accommodating without affecting the others. Thank you so much Eric for your kindness and professionalism.
